Macau in September

Hi all, I'm planning a trip to HK in September. I also want to stay in Macau for 2 days. However, I know that it is typhoon season at that time also. So, with that, are there cancellations of travelling (ie, turbojet or ferry) from HK to Macau due to weather? I don't want to book a room and find out I can't get there due to weather.

There is a typhoon warning system that can and does shut down the various ferry systems.  But it is only on a case by case basis.  In other words, they do do not shut down for the season.  You can always take the train or bus if you really need to get somewhere.  If you are worried about it then get the traveler's insurance when you book the room.

Just book a more reputable hotel and you should be able to cancel within 24 hours.
