#1 Post at 29-3-2013 00:30  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Is there a Mongering Hall of Fame Bros, after saying farewell to Darling after 8 years of Mongering in Macau, I thought about how we keep these great memories alive for prosterity.   I've been on the forum for a while - there are facilities, WGs, Bros, etc. who are repeatedly referenced month-after-month, sometimes year-after-year. Should there be a Mongering Hall of Fame...I'm talking places like D1, WGs like Gale, Angel (cass' girl), Bros like the Mods who have repeatedly shared great stories, are truly global mongerers, and have contributed for years like JckJr, cass, Wander (just Bros off the top of my head...) Maybe some criteria like # of posts, or Senior Bro votes, longevity, etc. I don't know...just thinking out loud.  I'm just saying because if it weren't for mongering, I don't think I'd have wanted to stay in Asia as long as I have (U.S. being my native country...). Anyway, I tend to agree with your idea in general.  We use a few (very few) "stickies" to highlight wickedly-useful threads (a good example is the brilliant wanchai bar-thread by TonyToro) but there is only so much room for those, right? There are many other post/reports/threads that are just damn classics!  Where either we learned a ton from it; or it just described a "moment" with a WG perfectly or uniquely; or even described an epic fail that was interesting and well-written.., whatever.   There should be some way to group and preserve these ones. A great read for newbies...
