Why have 141 forum posts declined steadily since 2010?

Guys, while browsing the forum I stumbled on Posting History in the Stats section and was really surprised to find that it shows the number of posts to this forum has been declining steadily since 2010. In fact, monthly posts now are about 1/3 of the number in 2010! I would have assumed activity was fairly steady or going up before reading the activity report. Does anyone have some insight into why this would be the case? This forum has been a source of so much good info; I don't like the thought of it being on such a steep downward trend and can't imagine why it is.

Thanks I'm advance for sharing your insights and/or opinions on this topic.

I can only offer my personal experience. I lost nearly all interest when the current mods started thrashing around blindly, accusing me of things I didn't do, and the standard of writing seemed to drop hugely, made more obvious by the absence of some top reporters like jackthebat. Any website/business has its hayday, which is hard to sustain, and now 141 have decided to try to charge us for looking at their twee, terrible videos of their girls

Matsu,
Valid question. Has been raised a couple of weeks earlier here: Guess not every1 will repeat his statements, thus take a look.

My take:
Some contributing members moved on others were moved on. Existing or new members were unable to fill the gap so posts and quality declined.

Plus not all posts back then were quality. At one point, threads in the Hong Kong reports section were flooded with one-liners from newbies trying to get higher RA, which proved to be a huge headache for mods at the time. It was only after the "newbie section" was created and newbies were barred from commenting in HK reports did flooding become less serious. Plus you had seniors (eg yvieamy) who used to reply to every single comment in individual posts (sometimes 5 or more consecutive one-or-two-line posts by the same person) rather than reply to all comments in one post. And when they were told to stop, they stopped posting.  Other members also spat the dummy as their egos inflated proportionately with their karma count and stirred trouble and left (or banned).  There are multiple reasons not limited to those discussed, IMO.

Nice to read some history about the forum back in the day..

Just wondering, how long has the English forum been open? how did it come about,
and how did you guys get to be mods? Would be interesting to know where this place came from...
