Im staying the grand hyatt or possibly the four seasons in the next week and has anyone here ever called a WG to there room while staying at either of those places?

Is it better for them to ask the reception so they can come up the elevator or should I pick them up myself?

Check the elevator. Is there a keycard lock sign...? If not, people can generally walk in and out freely. It's hard to keep track of hotel patrons in all their various forms. But some hotels require you to use your keycard after a certain hour to access hotel room floors.

Yeah, in the four seasons and the grand hyatt, they both require key cards for elevator access which is why they call your room and ask you
if "your friend is permitted to go to your room"

Wellll.... if you know this, then don't it all boil down to your own choice/how openly do you want others to know that you're asking a WG to come?

You've also got to figure out how daring the Wg coming up is - and if she would be so bold to actually march up to the reception to announce her arrival.

yeah but the WG is white but dosnt speak really good english or cantonese of course.

Id go and pick her up if I were you. More discreet. Just make sure she's not dressed too flashy as it will be noticed in those hotels (but doubt you would get comments, its just if you want to be discreet!).

do they also request guest to sign in after hours? do they do that?

I have stayed there before ánd if you arrange for a meeting point and pick her up somewhere around the lobby this should be no problem

Here's my advice after many years of doing this in hk and a,so having a friend who is a gm at one of the five star hotels

Don't let the girl turn up in hot pants and a string top. No one like the attention least of which the hotel

All the five star hotels get the game. They watch very carefully and they know who is coming and going. Have a look at the cameras in the lifts etc.  ( one of the five star hotels in Jakarta strip searches every girl after they leave the room to seewhat they have stolen)

Much better to arrange to meet the girl and bring her up to your room unless you are in a hotel that doesnt have key cardaccess for the lift

Your only risk then is bumping into a colleague in the lift while you have a 19 year old Filipino attached to your arm. Hardto talk your way out of that.

At the end of the day it's personal choice but every one knows the game and it's just a question of do you want the hotel staff to know for sure what you are up to or a nameless chineses business man in the lift.

Have fun there. Those rooms are one of the best ever, assuming you're staying in the ones over at HK island.

I wouldn't see a problem asking your 'friend' to pretend she doesn't know you until you get to your room. You could always act like you're some kind of bodyguard for another 'dude', providing girls for your boss.

Best rooms? Upper house in PP... Those are truly amazing and come with the price tag but the 4s is really nice too (certainly one of the nicest in HK!!). As said above, no flashy dress, black simple dress will do fine. Even better you can meet her at the coffeeshop outside of the hotel (in the mall, french brand cant remember the name) get to know her there with a nice coffee and then take her in, you'll even seem to know each others (this is if you dont have an SO and no risk of being burned!).
