This is my first post on this forum.  I’ve been looking at the GAL’ DB and reading through the posts here for about a month now.  I’ve made about 12 mongering trips
to SE Asia; mostly to the LOS and the PI.  I am planning to expand my horizons on my next trip.  HK and Macau will be on my itinerary plus a couple of other places.  I
have never been to either place.

After, perusing the Gal Database; I have quite a few comments and questions based on my readings on this board and others.  I’m keeping everything in this post strictly
limited to my questions and assumptions with regard to the ads in the Gal’ DB.

Note:  I have been RTFF.  Responses suggesting that I should RTFF will be unhelpful to me and others trying to glean info from this forum.  (And, yes I have tried to
employ the search function)  I have been around for a while and have learned that most that reply with the RTFF comment have never made a useful contribution to
the forum in question or it’s been a long time since they have done so.  So, if you can provide an enlightened comment, please do so.  I will appreciate your contribution and I’m sure others will also.

BTW.  I am a white dude, in my fifties, in decent shape and I can speak not a word of Cantonese or Mandarin.

So here is my interpretation of the info provided by the Gal’ DB

Name:
Example:  Angel, Baby Doll, Jennifer, etc…  
* Are these the girls’ real names?  
* Will they respond to those names?
* Why do so many of the girls that speak only Chinese have English names?

Addr:
Example:  “Room 1, Flat E, 2/F, Kan Yip Building, NO. XXX-YYY Castle Peak Rd., Yuen Long”
* The girl is located in Yuen Long in the Kan Yip Building with the address No. XXX-YYY Castle Peak Rd.
* Also she is to be found on the 2nd floor in Flat E in Room #1.
* You can’t call this girl or make a reservation, you have to find her place and knock on the door and hope for the best.  But, first you have to find the friggin’ building.  
Good Luck!
* The links show all of the other girls in the building or Yuen Long.

Example:  Hotel Reservation, Prince Edward (Phone reservation) Tel: XXXX ZZZZ
* This girl is located in a hotel in Prince Edward.  But, you must call the posted number to get an address and an “appointment”.  It is only an appointment if you can find the hotel she is in and then call again to confirm so that you have her room number.  You may have to wait for around 30 minutes after the final confirmation.
* If you are an English only speaker, the person answering the phone most likely will not understand you and will hang up.
* The links show all of the other reservation girls or girls in Prince Edward.

Hour:  Example:  “11:00-3:00”
* The girl is available for clients between 11AM and 3AM.
         Example:  “24Hrs”
* This girl is available 24hrs a day.  She never sleeps.  She is a vampire.  Beware!  

Age:  Example:  “20”
* The girl gives her age in the ad.  (Should we add 5 to 10 yrs to the posted age?)
* How about the girls that don’t post their age.  Should we assume their 30, 40 or 50ish?

Height: Example: “5”6””.   
* This is how tall she is in 4” heels.  (Are these girls really as tall as advertised?)

Size: Example:  “35C-24.5-35”
* I don’t think anyone needs help interpreting female measurements posted in the ads unless they are unfamiliar with English units of measure.
* If the pics are accurate; many of these girls are quite well endowed and the posted measurements are generally as suggested in the pics.  Wow!

Race: Example:  “Local (Cantonese, Mandarin)”
* The race thing refers to the girl’s language capabilities.  This girl can’t speak a lick of English.  Do you know sign language?
* “Local” means????  Hong Kong girl or Chinese girl from the mainland or nothing?

         Example: “Local (Cantonese, English)”
* This means either the girl can speak some English, is fluent in English or she is from the British Isles.  Expect to pay 3 times the going rate for English speakers.

Service: Example:  “HK $320” No other info is provided.
* Full service?  BJ?  HJ?  Or just a friggin’ massage.  You tell me.
           
           Example:  “HK $1800      Negotiable overnight.”
* HK $1800???  Anyway what’s the deal with the overnight negotiable girls that are within a normal bloke’s price range?  Do the girls want 2 or 3 times their going rate?  I read that you stay in their room all night.
         
          Example:  “HK$ 300 Massage+HJ, HK$ 350 BM, HK$ 450 Whole package”
* Massage + HJ (clear).  BM?  That’s not a bowel movement is it?  I’m not paying a girl to shit on me!  Whole package is apparently FS.

Review: Example: “Sweet service~”, “Fascinating & sweet~” etc…
* Something the girl or her sponsor picked from a drop down menu.  It’s meaningless.

* I don’t get this.  Almost all of the girls have the same 4,4,3,4 rating.  I am inclined to believe these
ratings don’t mean a hill of beans.

Photos:  Example:  Photos with pixeled faces
*Nice enough body, but where’s her face?  She is either shy, afraid her family will find out she is in the business or she’s fugly.  I just know I ain’t going to spend the
time looking for her apartment if I can’t see her face.

          Example:  The girl looks sooo hot!  She looks incredible with a beautiful young face and incredible Ccups that would shame most Thais or Filipinas I have been
with.  Yep, these girls look friggin’ amazing!  With looks like those, I almost don’t care if she is a dead fish in the sack!
* I need a reality check.  Is this a bait and switch scam?  I mean how much alteration can be done with Photo Shop.  I use photo shop to enhance the quality of my
pictures; but I am obviously an amateur.  I can’t turn an orangutan into a gorgeous 19yr girl with a thin waist and disproportionately large mammary glands.  

How to find: Example:  Three pics at the bottom of the ad showing the building, a street sign and maybe the doorway or the mailbox or the girls apartment
door.
* Hey, no problemo!  I’ll be right over after I install my photographic memory stick in my brain!  Nice pics; I’m not sure how these pics would help a new comer.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your first post !  

You have a lot of questions nad comments, can't answer them all at once but will do so given some time.

1.  Name - this is mainly for hotel girls :

The name is usually given to the this site in Chinese and it is translated into English names as close as possible by the
staff of this site. So the answer is no, they are usually not the girl's real names, and sometimes the girls themselves
are not aware of the names given to them.     Why do they have English names if they only understand Chinese ?
If they wrote the name in Chinese in the DB would you know how to read it ?   

141 walk ups generally give their english name to the site.

2. Address :

As in everything, you need to use some energy and effort in finding these addresses - if you can't be bothered
to find the address then thats your problem. No pain no gain !

3.  Hours :

24 hours means that the girl lives in that flat and you should be able to find her there at all hours.

4.  Age :

No rule of thumb but don't all women lie about their age ?
but yes they are always older then whats stated.

5.  Height :

Yes usually the stated height is different then the actual height.

Local means local insde brackets means language. Some do charge extra for being able to speak English - you are paying

They have stated their price and if you don't think its reasonable then go somewhere else ... but it'll be still
a lot less then whatever you're paying in the States !

No BM does not mean bowel movenent   , if you have been reading this forum for more then a month you
would have found the list of acronyms in Q & A !

8.  Review :

Like you said, its meaningless so don't believe it !

9.  Photos

You're right, you are not an expert in PS ! and if you dont have imagination then you'll never be an expert !

10.  How to find ...

Most normal people - new to HK would have a map to find their way around, but some abnormal
people might need a hole in their head to insert something to get them thinking !

My comments were not meant to be bad-tempered or mean spiritied.  Much of what I wrote was done tongue in cheek.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post.  Your thoughtful answers verified some of my initial thoughts and clarified my understanding of others.

No, I have not been to HK, but I am looking forward to my trip later in the year.  I will be doing a lot of research beforehand as I will be traveling on vacation
and time will be limited for each of the locations I visit.  I want to hit the ground running as I will have little time to waste.  I want to experience a good sample
of what HK has to offer in terms of the girl venues, the food (My Chinese friends tell me it is the BEST), sightseeing, etc...  I know I can't do everything.  But,
the 141 thing is something I want to try during my visit.

I plan to take your comments and hopefully those of others and correct my initial post and make it into something that I and perhaps other newbies to HK can use as
a primer for reviewing the DB.  I will post revisions in this thread every once in a while until I have something that is useful.  Obviously, I will start with your responses
to my original post.

BTW.  BM is not in the list of terms (acronyms).  I did look before I posted.  I'm guessing it means Body Massage and not the other.

Yep, this is a great map site!  I found it several weeks ago and it is sooo helpful.  I love maps in general and interactive ones like this are fun and informative.

I plan to include the link in my newbie 141 Gal DB primer.  I'm sure I'll print a ton of maps from the site before I leave for HK.  I haven't found one like this for Macau yet.

Yeah, I never should have hit the submit button that night.  It took about 3 hours
for me to put the post together and I had quite a few drinks as I was going back and
