Travel agency linked to vice racket

A travel agency allegedly helped book rooms at four-star hotels for mainland prostitutes, including illegal immigrants, as part of a vice racket.

Police broke up the operation yesterday. They believe it is the first time a travel agency in Hong Kong has been involved in such activities.

A gang arranged for the women to provide sex at the hotels. Their pictures and details were put on a sex website with contact numbers.

Chief Inspector Andy Chan Tin-chu, of New Territories South regional crime unit, said clients were charged between HK$700 and HK$1,000 and each prostitute had more than 10 customers a day. The syndicate had operated for three months and had a monthly turnover of more than HK$2 million, he said.

Sixteen people were arrested yesterday in raids across the city.

A 38-year-old travel agency director and an employee, 45, were nabbed when police raided an office in Mong Kok. Officers seized documents and receipts. Last night police were still looking for another director of the travel agency.

The alleged mastermind, 41, was arrested at a flat in To Kwa Wan. "The flat was used as its command centre. All calls from clients were transferred to the centre and callers were asked to go to a hotel room for sex," Chan said.

At the flat, police seized eight mobile phones, HK$28,000 in cash and a computer.

Most of the mainland prostitutes were picked up at three hotels in Tsuen Wan, Wan Chai and Causeway Bay.

I guess the HG industry is getting too big for the police not to do anything !

I wonder if this has anything to do with the recent busting of that agent in HK who was helping mainland mothers give birth to babies in China.

Seems like a whole to of anti mainlander sentiments are being expressed in HK right now.

Recently a landlord from Fuji building in Causeway Bay was taken to the police station for an incident that happened over at Fuji. This chick that works on what I believe is the 3rd floor started dating a white dude which did not want her to work any more at her place so the chick stopped going to work and gave notice to the landlord that she was not going to continue any more so her landlord wanted to hold her deposit for early termination. The tenant had one more month left so she did not pay the last months rent. Landlord came in opened the door and locked herself in not allowing tenant to enter. When police arrived the police asked who called in and the tenant along with the landlord both said that they had called in. Police ended up taking landlord to police station lol.. instead of tenant. Tenant wanted to use her deposit money to pay for last months rent and landlord insisted that she had to pay the last months rent. Landlord said deposit was security money that could not be deducted from rent and that deposit would be returned at end of contract if tenant had no broken contract rules. If I am not mistaken contract was up as well.

Complicated issue as the law states that one person can rent and work out of their flat but the landlord can not split one unit into 5 and rent to working girls as then he would be running and profiting from prostitution. This is why others just rent single hotel rooms to try and get around this. It is legal when it is individually rented but not legal when it is run as a business to profit from working girls because of this many of these landlords do not sign rental contracts with these girls because this could work against them in court.

Not many new HK side girls

Ive been away for 3 weeks and the girls are the same from when I left for Wan chai and CWB,, with a few additions but the new ones mutton disguised as lamb....

Are these raids the reason why we havent had many new updates for HK side girls ?
