One can get pretty swamped at the number of punting options available in Hong Kong. I have trawl through many threads and came up with some notes, which originally was for my purpose, but I think will be of benefit to all the noobs out there. This guide is only a summary, and summarised from many awesome threads. The purpose is to find out what options are suitable for you, the basic information, and some tips. Also note not all options are explored (being places like 37D or saunas or temple street) This guide will focus on the following:

What is it?
Picking up WGs who hang out at bars.  Since the majority are WGs, your success rate should be great.

Advantages

1.        The experience. Hang out at a bar, have a drink
2.        Possibility of return visits at discounted rates
3.        Better chance of GFE
4.        Longer session
5.        Potentially cheaper
6.        Try before you buy (in terms of getting to know the WG)
7.        The WG likely to speaks English
8.        You chose the location for your deed
9.        Range of nationalities

Disadvantages:
1.        Comparatively very expensive for one session (refer costs below)
2.        Comparative the most work of all these options

Quick Tips:

Get a HK Mobile number
Bring Condom
Cash in correct denominations

VELVET CURTAIN/GO GO BAR

What is it?
These are bars that charge an extremely high amount for drinks for your lady friend, who you can then take out to a hotel.

Advantages:
1.        May get a good deal if you know the routine
2.        Higher percentage of hot girls (???)

Estimated cost:
Drinks are about $300 each
Have seen posts ranging from $2,000k for two smoking Fils (Wander!) to $4,000 per girl.

Quick Tips:
Do not stay too long as more drinks will accumulate. At ~$300 a pop, that can b very expensive

A poster advised wooing the mamasan/papasan in order to get the best recommendation
Some posters think this method is a rip off, whilst others have had success

WALK-UPS

What is it?

Based on Perv’s post http://forum.sex141.com/eforum/v ... &extra=page%3D1 be sure to visit it if you have any questions, as this is only taking the bare bones. Basically a building with WGs scattered throughout the building. There will be a sign on the door and you basically just knock on the door to see if they are available. If the girl advertises in DB, then feel free to give them a call.

If the girl is available, she will answer the door. This will be the chance to check her out, and if you like what you see, then ask how much, otherwise, politely say “Har Chi” (meaning next time... regardless of whether you mean it :S)

Once you have decided on one, the experience usually includes a shower, BJ, and FS then shower again.  A session is usually 45min.

Advantages:
1.        Cheapest punting option on this list. Temple st is cheaper, but well...
2.        Potentially not as focused on time watching as HG
3.        Many WGs are not on the DB, so you may find a gem (who loves lucky dips?)
4.        Its relatively easy learning curve
5.        A buffet of women where approaching them is as easy as knocking
6.        Most providers would have a HKID, so potentially wont disappear as quickly as HG
7.        Good source of reviews on the forum

Disadvantages:
1.        Quality of the girls vary a lot
2.        Little if any English
3.        Opportunity to experience a police raid (legal, but will probably kill the mood)
4.        Probably the least desirable environment of the options available
5.        No overnighters (or very unlikely)

Quick tips:

Lots of these are from furryfriend’s post in perv’s thread, so check it out for more detail
Aim to go after 1:30pm at the earliest
Rush hour is about 6pm – 9pm with most girls on duty
Afternoon is a great time to go and more likely to have your time extended
141 girls are located in clusters so note down the address of where the girl is on the DB and go there
Ring the bell, just in case, and if you get the door slammed in your face, don’t take it personally 
If you like the look of a girl but want to continue looking, then jot down the number and floor
White guys will likely pay $50 to $100 premium and some wont serve white guys
Most likely places to service white guys is TST and Causeway Bay
BBBJ and BBBJCIM are unusual. Particularly with younger girls and should be negotiated at the door

Catch a lift to the top, so you can walk down the building and avoid uncomfortable lift encounters!
Police patrol these buildings but they usually don’t bother punters
If safety is a concern for you (although HK is relatively very safe) try TST and Causeway Bay areas
Try to get the security number for the building in case the door is locked.
A flat with WG usually have a camera present
Tipping is optional. $50 - $100HKD is common.
Success with a threesome from the same cluster is a possibility but is not recommended
Photos are not unusual, just ask nicely and respect the answer
It is not illegal if you see a WG and it is one on one.
Chances of overnighters are slim.

HOTEL GIRLS/PHONE APPOINTMENTS

Not really much to say here, its quite self explanatory. These are usually run by a papasan, and you ring the number to make an appointment (usually 45 min slots) The papasan will tell you the hotel location and then once you get there, call again and he will tell you the room number. Note the cost quoted includes the cost of the hotel room.

Advantages
1.        Higher percentage of quality
2.        Relatively easy to organise
3.        Environment is nicer than walk-ups
4.        No hotel/accommodation fee
5.        Good source of reviews on the forum
6.        Get to see them on the DB

Disadvantages
1.        Relatively expensive
2.        Possibility of Bait & Switch
3.        If B&S occurs, relatively inconvenient to find alternative
4.        DB will be photoshopped

Final bit of advice, all of these girls are human beings and are deserving of respect and kindness. If you treat them good, chances are they will treat you good.

I will be heading to HK soon and discovered this site. I was attracted to the HG and the walk ins like a kid at a candy store. Done a few bar girls, and hotel girls, which was pretty easy really. Even my first visit to Macau, took the ferry across walked around a little, wussed out and got the ferry back. Doesn't worry me now though!

Not really, the curtain bars have all these hot girls hanging outside, and usually a really pushy MMS trying to get you in and part with your money.
Have spent many an hour sat in a bar on the opposite side of the road watching them trying to pull in guys walking past. And those that they manage to get in there seem to come back out pretty quickly.

However the bar girls is less intimidating, as you just go into the bar of your choice. For me Escape, Makati and what seems many moons ago Laguna (not there anymore).  As these are bars that are very busy, just grab a drink have a walk around and see if there is any talent that catches your eye. If your worried about approaching them not a problem. There will be some watching you and waiting to make their move.
If you do see one you like and are a little shy (as I was first few times). Literally just give them a smile, and nine times out of ten they will come over to you.

Hehe.  How you could be okay in Escape or Makati but wuss out in a Macau Sauna is curious.  But - each scene has it's own unique challenges, I suppose.  

The problem with the Curtain bars is those damn ultra-pricey girl-drinks.  They'll nail you for 300HK a pop, and one or two gals will join you and each will try to order 3 drinks within 10 minutes of sitting!  Yes, they'll blow you but it'll cost ya 2K or more REAL FAST!  Unless you are REALLY tough the bill will get huge fast - and being so tough ruins the whole frickn mood anyway --- so our advice to avoid is usually the right advice to take.  You watched Bros leaving quickly for a reason!

My first adventures into the Wanchai bar scene happened by chance really. Was staying in Wanchai to attend an exhibition at the convention centre. Went out to find a bar to watch a Rugby match, as not available in my hotel, and ended up in Escape (Fenwick at the time). Everything else pretty much fell into place.
The discovered this forum, and lots was posted about the Sauna Scene in Macau and thought it seemed worth a go. But took some building up to!!
Thought of walking into a place where there are already a lot of guys just chilling was easier for me.
That said have only ever done East Spa, and need to broaden my horizons!
