iPad GPS help

Bros,

So I finally got my act together and got a data sim for my iPad. Since my GPS in my car is evil, I thought the iPad's GPS will help.. however, I've yet to find a good one with China maps and more importantly, in English!! It's frustrating the hell out of me and I've done my research online and in the apps store. No luck.. most of it is offline maps or in Chinese.

I was really hoping tomtom will have something but much to my surprise, they have maps for most places (including HK and Macau)  except for China!! wtf?! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a data plan then why do you need offline maps?  You should just be using the Maps application.

I don't need offline maps.. I need live GPS maps for China on the iPad in English.. The Maps app sucks in terms of directions. It's fine if I'm walking but if I'm driving, it's a bit difficult to actually look at the map (cause it doesn't have voice and you have to read the directions).

Then you either need a data plan for China which will give you live GPS through the Maps application, or an actual GPS application with China maps (which at the moment doesn't really exist and even less so if you're also looking for it being English language with voice).
