Hi,

Just a question for experienced bros. I intend to go to Zhuhai from GZ Baiyun Airport, what options do I have? I also intend to go to Zhuhai to CP, what's the fastest way? Much appreciated!

[edit] I had a look, since I am going to both ZH and CP it might be best if I go instead to SZ airport and take a ferry from SZ to ZH and later taking the same ferry back to SZ, and transport to CP?

Depending on where you're coming from - you could concievably fly into Macau or even Zhuhai i/o SZ or GZ; then you'd cover one of your destination - ZH - right away.

But if your only 2 choices are SZ and GZ - then yes, definitely SZ.  Arrange for a car to pick you up to take you to CP for around RMB 200 and an hour (contact one of the CP agents to arrange).  From CP, you could either go on a bus or another Private car (approx RMB 450 and 3 hours) or by Bus.

As seaj said you can also fly into ZH, but it is always more expensive than GZ or SZ and it is still an hour bus ride outside of town.

There is a bus directly from Baiyun airport to ZH.  I have not taken it myself, but I hear it is about 2.5 hours and less than 100rmb.

Getting to/from CP from ZH is a bit more difficult.  I like seaj's suggestion of flying in/out from SZ Baoan airport instead.  It is usually price comparable to GZ. I would then get a private car from the airport and go to CP first, then another car from CP to Shekou to get the ferry to ZH (70min and 100rmb for the boat).  After finishing up in ZH, you can catch a bus directly to the SZ airport (2.5 hours) or you can take the ferry back to Shekou and then take the Metro (subway) out to the airport.

I guess you could reverse the sequence if going to ZH first was a requirement.  Fly to SZ, bus or metro/ferry to Zhuhai, ferry back to Shekou, then car to CP and back to SZ airport.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm flying from Singapore via SIA on points so these are the only airports. I had a look at the flight schedule and it seems like SZ is out, so I have to go via GZ.

My plan is to get to GZ airport, take the 2.5hr bus to Gongbei (i going ZH because got MM waiting for me...), then take a ferry from ZH to SZ, I will ask an agent what's the best way to get from She Kou to CP.

Tell you what - you're the paymaster/boss and you SHOULD tell her to just come to CP! Locals know how to get from one place to another much better/cheaper - and lets face it, YOUR time is more valuable than hers. So just pay her whatever it is that you were gonna pay her anyway, plus a bit more for the travel - and you shold save both time AND money. Don't take no for an answer from her/any gals and let them understand they need you more than you need them (which is true - especially if you know CP!).

OK since you're going to come in to GZ anyway, you shouold FIRST head to CP - airport transfer to GZE station, (45 mins or so) CRH to CP (40 minutes). If you like what you find in CP (which I'm 90% sure you will), you can even forget about getting the ZH MM. But if you really want to have her - OK make her come to CP ...and if that really don't work, just go to any of the agents in CP to either arrange car/bus transport to ZH - whichever way you prefer.

I wasted too much time for a year traveling between 2 cities in Colombia to meet 2 different girls. After a year of this I finally rented an apartment in a beach town and paid for a plane ticket for each one(different weeks of course)
So I relaxed on the beach while they did all the traveling.
Time is precious, never waste it if u can

FYI, I paid 89 RMB to take bus 2.2 hours from GZ airport to ZH, warning, no toilet on-board and driver does not stop so pee in advance.

Currently I fly to ZH airport then take taxi to ZH or 3 Cities.
