The game in Macau is very different from the one in Crown, imo.
I definitely play a different game here than in other countries. What you say is true, but by that definition, you should realize its not that hard to win then. You just have to be able to ride the variance train, avoid tilt from getting one outered on the river, and tighten up post flop.
If you are primarily a preflop player, you will have a lot of problems in Macau. If you play well postflop its not hard to take it away from most players. What I see people do too often is 3/4-bet light preflop against players who will refuse to fold with 22-AJ.
That being said, the game has gotten tougher over the last two years, less fish, and the regs have learned a bit of poker since then.
