2011 MLB Playoffs...

Small increase in attendance this year so the league total rise to 73,425,667 fans for the 2011 regular season. Quite remarkable when you consider the state of the US economy.

In the American League, I'm betting the Yankees will take the Detroit.
Texas too good for Tampa Bay.
The Yankees will then top Texas in the second round and advance to the World Series.

In the National League, Philadelphia too good for St Louis, and Milwaukee will beat Arizona. Philadelphia will be too good for Milwaukee in the League Championship Series and advance to the World Series.

In the World Series, despite their amazing pitching, the Yankees will be too good for Philadelphia in 7 games.

the tigers i hope will beat the yanks. i know you love the yanks tt. but this reminds me of 2006 when the tigers were underdogs. the huge thing is grandy now plays for the yanks and i think that is a problem. he is probably the most powerful hitting center fielder hitting wise. i think the tigers can pull out a series only if the pitchers can come through. fister got unlucky with two outs and the yanks went nuts. it is up to verlander, maxi and ricky. can these three pull through we will see.

i'm not good at predicting baseball so we have to wait and see.

Yankees answered today with a 10 - 1 thumping of Detroit... very happy with that!

I once had a 12team parlay and missed it by one game... $5 parlay for $21k too!! Sad part was it was my own team that failed me. Oh well it wasn't meant to be.

Anyways I think Texas will take Detroit in 6 and go to the world series again.

You should have bet the other way on your parlay, that way you couldn't loss. Same thing happen to a buddy, we were
driving back from Vegas to Vancouver and he had a 15 game parlay alive before the Monday night game. We didn't realize it
but we should have phoned our bookie and bet it off and still come out ahead. Oh well lesson learn.

Pujols is a free agent.  He is putting on a show so that he will get max on a new contract.  The series is over.  The cards are the winners

hmmm $250 for $400k? Pretty sure that's not that odds that were out before the season started... +160000 lol. Even the Astros odds weren't that high. I think it odds was more like 1 to 15 for the Cardinals before the season started.

I think Texas in 6. (Biased cause I'm from Texas lol)

a good chance he goes for US$200 million +

I think it would be great if he stayed in St Louis but if he's looking to move... he'd look great in pinstripes! as much as I like Texiera... Big Albert is THE man!

As a White Sox fan, ship Dunn and Rios for Pujols.

Hey, I can wish can't I.
