Makes anyone of our cities back home look like they really do need some of that DC "shovel ready" money. I am also amazed at the proliferation of Pinays all over Central. I walked around for a bit as it was too early to check-in to the hotel, and WOW! they are all over the streets. Hanging out in groups, some apparently selling stuff on the overpasses and side streets. Amazing! Looking forward to this experience and my first report. Hopefully, I can repay a little of the great advice and wisdom I have received from the Board. Apparently, they are house cleaners/maids that only get a short time off. They use it like this to meet other ppl and socialize amongst their community. Good on them I think.
