Serviced apartments

I'll be in HK for 5 months and I'm currently looking for a furnished apartment or serviced apartments near TST. Anyone got any good recommendation? Thanks in advance

i know there is one close to the Mong Kok East train station...

I also know a friend who owns and runs serviced aparemnts in Sheung Wan/Sai Wan area, to be honest I don't know the exact locations...

I've heard about, but not from a realiable source that there are serviced aparements at residences above Elements the mall, which is above the Kowloon train station...

That's all I know...you are going to have to digg around a bit yourself...

True what paka says, I have a friend who lives above elements and they are nice. I cannot remember the name of them. I will try and find out for you.

A decent link for viewing different serviced apartments..

You also have the Shama Serviced apartment conveniently located just at TST station, it's above a bookstore :

Price and quality is fair, location is really the best.

There are so many to choose from, but you can't believe the photos that you see on the Internet.

It's best to make a trip out before you stay so you can take a look yourself.

I'll probably stay at a hotel the first week and have a real estate agent show me around when I get there. I just wanted to see whats available.

I'm looking at a 300-700sq ft and around 15k-20k HKD/month.

I'll check up on all the links you guys provided. Thanks a lot!

I don't know if you are paying or your company, but when you use an agent, the price goes up.

On the flip side, unless you have been here for a while and know the market, it can be hard not to have an agent.

It really is better to be on the ground and looking.  So you know how far you are from the MTR, from groceries, from a gym, the bars, and so on.

If you don't mind staying in a lower class area like shamshuipo or prince Edward, thisagent is quite cheap http://hk.88db.com/hk/Views/88Li ... //www.66989926.hk/.
Otherwise try your luck with horizon suites in hung hom.

My company will be paying $20k for living expenses a month.

I still prefer to live somewhere near central and where it is more convenient, but it seems like serviced apartments are small and expensive. I might try to look for some furnished apartments. Seems like its much cheaper, but its not as luxurious and have to clean up after myself
