After getting all the banned bros un-banned yesterday, it seems some attitudes haven't changed because now Happppy has been banned. I'm guessing this is
because of his 'Concept about a Sugar Daddy' thread. OK, this thread is a load of crap and out of the 65 posts, 33 were were by Happppy. This alone should
tell us that not many people were interested. But, what's more interesting is that, of the remaining 32 posts - 17 were from Sulasno and Hunter. Only 15 were
from all other bros and were mostly one-liners. Without the Mods' input, dare I say interference, Happppy's thread would have died a natural death.

From Hunter's last post to Happppy, I'm guessing the ban is only for 24 hours. But as Hunter and Sulasno and have both resigned as Mods I would have thought
they wouldn't be doing any more banning. If they think somebody should be banned, I think they should now refer the matter to the other Mods.

Happppy's previous thread .. 'Local Girl Seeks Experience ...' was closed by Hunter and Happppy was trying to have it re-opened. This may also have contributed
to his banning, I don't know and this lack of transparency is not good.

In view of all the controversy over recent bannings, I think we should have a separate Section for ... 'Why Bros Have Been Banned'. When any bro is banned, even
temporarily, the mods should post an explanation of why it happened. This would also be useful for newbies, and the rest of us, because we would know the types
of forum behaviours to be avoided. It might also make the mods think twice before banning a bro.

I concur but explanations for bans have been rejected in the past.
It all boils down to the maturity of the management

This english forum should setup a list of banning rules like the chinese forum. Can start with collect input from members first.

Yes, bring him back. Even if for only 24 hours, Happy should not have been banned. Everyone is just too thin-skinned. If you're pissed at someone, just ignore him. We're all just faceless names here, getting so angry at someone, regardless of how provocative he's being, that you have to ban him, is too drastic and unilateral. It the end it causes more problems than it solves. Bring him back.

Banning, while a necessary tool in some cases, is just too heavy-handed an approach to be used lightly.

My experiance with other website, online forum, etc have been that the flaming can get very out of hand. Specially when the site allows for anonymous logins. People are very judgmental and flame another without any proper sense of civility. It is also true that we should not expect a lot from any one of us here using 141, for if we were wise and intelligent, we would not be mongering at all???

I think banning as a tool should remain. I concurr that more transparency will be helpful. We do need to maintain some order in the forum.

I agree we need banning as a tool, but it should be used as a last resort - not because a mod is piissed off with a bro.

When someone is ban from the forum, you don't ask immediately. You wait. The moderators are volunteers, not full time customer service 24 x7;

I ban you when you posted on the thread on moebee. And moebee was banned because of his post; "I rest my case" and yet continue to make another post in the same thread. Hitting a guy and run, thinking that he can get away with murder? What would happen if everyone starts doing that? There are already some members who are doing the same thing. They know who they are.

You asked why Marsupial was banned; I give you an answer but I did not know whether you accept my explanations are not. He was ban including his unmarsupial for the second time; Leopard never changes its spot. Imposing hie views and thinking that everyone must agree with him.  I will tell you what's the real reason I ban him in my new thread.

Is the cup half-full or half-empty?? Even with a simple situation like that, you can have two different but accurate points of view. Language is subject to interpretation. The writer may not have meant what the reader is inferring. Misunderstanding can thus occur. I also believe that personal attack should not be tolerated. We are not here to witness pissing contests. Let's all start the new year with open minds and friendly behaviors.
