iPhone apps for Foreigners!

So I deal with iPhones every day and I also live work and monger (arent they all the same thing sometimes) in the Mainland...

Here are some useful things I use everyday...

Appstore:  

China Talk ($0.99)  
very good translation app with pinyin characters and color coding.  Uses babelfish/google translate.  Only useful for mandarin (no canto sorry)

iTranslate Pro
Great app, text to speech, many many many languages

Pleco
offline dictionary and phrasebook, has OCR scanning function which is amazing for menus and stuff~

GZ Metro
metro map along with routes and timetables, useful for getting around!

Jailbreak:
Maps Enhancer - predownload maps for places you are going so you can access information quickly without internet access on site. (available from regular cydia sources)

Location Fix - corrects the GPS position on maps on the mainland so you can actually use a map there!.  Source: apt.mirrordev.com
