Since we're on the legal thing again, there's one thing I've never been able to understand. Prostitution is illegal in Hong Kong.
And yet, every day, hundreds of bros go out and pay gals for sex - that's prostitution. Some of us even write about these
enounters in the reports section. But I've never read of a single case where a bro has been prosecuted for hiring a prostitute.
So what is the law supposed to mean? Can anybody explain it? I mean, I'm almost 59 - is anybody gonna believe that this
beautiful 18 year old gal is shagging me because she likes me, with no money changing hands. OK, it's the gal that's the
prostitute, but at the very least, I must be some kind of accomplice. I guess that the only answer is that the prostitution
laws are just pure hypocrisy. Kinda like traffic laws when [not] applied to taxi drivers and minibus drivers.
