CWB Walkup Bldg. Any Veterans out there.
Hello Bros and fellow punters,
I've not been to HK in 7 years, but my next trip is in 3 weeks. Looks like there have been some subtle changes in the mongering landscape since my last visit. I used to be a regular at the Fuji building in CWB. Seemed like every other flat was a WG. Anyway, I also remember a building across the street and down a bit named Wing, Ying or Yee something or other that was also very productive. I've not been able to find this one in the db, does anyone recall the name and know if it is still brimming with local talent?
Also I have noticed a sharp incline in "phone appointments" and even non-phone appointment girls indicating to call and show caller ID. Is the walk-up now an antiquated practice? Is the proper etiquette now to phone ahead? It seems that would take some of the spontaneity out of the whole bit, I rather enjoyed mounting the stairwells with a target in mind, only to abandon every notion the moment I saw a pretty young bird I fancied.
One last question, please. I seem to remember a plethora of informal massage type places in and around MongKok, they all had signs only in Chinese (usually yellow) and they used to let you request the nationality for your punt. It seems it was just a quicky for about 300. Are these places still in existence? I've not seen much publicized on this forum about them?
It sucks being out of touch.
