While I don't know Chinese, can try to search the Internets. The answer interests me too.

Looks like there are 9 Sueit Yee's in the database now. If you look at their ad and switch to Chinese, you see the Chinese version of their name 雪兒 that Sueit Yee is (probably a machine) translation of.

When Googling for "雪兒" the #1 hit is the Wikipedia page for pop singer Cher:
http://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-tw/%E9%9B%AA%E5%85%92

When searching for 雪兒 in www.nciku.com dictionary the result also redirects to Cher:
雪儿 (雪兒)
[Xuě'ér]
1. Cher, an American actress who won the Oscar for Best Female Actress in 1987-1988 for the movie Moonstruck

CharacterRadical/StrokeTotal StrokesPinyinEnglish Def.
雨 + 311xue3snow; wipe away shame, avenge
儿 + 68er2 er5son, child, oneself; final part
If it's not the stage name for Cher, then I don't know what snow child it is

兒 is an endearing term.

chinese names usually have 3 characters, the first being the surname, and the 2nd and 3rd being the given name. like nicknames in English, chinese sometimes takes the last character and adds 兒 to it to show affection. so it could be used by parents or lovers as well.

so for 雪兒, that doesnt mean that its her name. 雪 probably is the 3rd character and 兒 was added to show affection.

thats the etymology of the name.
