Steve Jobs action hero

Here's something for all those apple fan boys. A Steve Jobs action figure. Retails for the bargain basement price of $80US, but you'll need to be quick apparently apple is not amused and has called in the lawyers.

Looks like a Jobs bobblehead, but seriously why would anyone...ah nevermind, there are all kinds of people these days that would probably pick one up.

There are so many die hard Apple fans out there.  I'm sure there would be plenty of Apple addicts that will buy it.  Apple hasbuilt up such a huge following that if they slap the Apple logo on anything, people would line up to get it.

Just look at the iPad.  It's just a huge Itouch.  There are plenty of other products out there with better functions.  Yet Apple continues to sell.

For many zealots, Steve Jobs IS the messiah.  Me, I think he has the really great talaent of picking what will market and sell well.  The bloke has talent.  The products have cachet.  But I agree with you, there are [in most cases] better products with superior functionality around.

I totally agree with you.  It's all about having the latest apple gadget no matter what it is.  It's not to the point that if Steve Jobs slapped a apple logo on a brick and people would buy it.  but it's almost to that point.  Related to my post above.  I remember people predicted the Ipad was going to tank.  It ended up not being so and Apple made huge profits.

Truthfully, apple has some really really good quality product and its just interesting how it started. If im not mistaken during the early years of apple (more specifically the Macintosh) they released a tv ad that basically conveyed the message that apple is going to something different, something that doesnt stick to conformity (ergo not windows LOL) and it sold well. And it continues to do that today by leading the tech industry with its innovative products. Case in point the iphone and ipad, now every tech company is scrambling to capture (recapture) that market. Speaking of which i do hope the samsung galaxy is nice....

Is Apple ever amused? Steve needs to work on his sense of humor.

Completely agree. Jobs is known as one of the biggest hard asses in the biz, particulary with people in his own company. But I still respect what he's achieved for himself and for Apple the company. It seems in this business(as in many others) you don't get to the top by being a nice guy
