As a newbie in the forum ive made an effort to post detailed reports on here but it seems that the bros here have a tendency to read my reports but give any support,

so with reluctance i feel that its better for me to retire as my efforts have not been reciprocated.

Bro, sometimes it takes a while to build up your status. It does get a lot quicker once you post even better reports, with pictures and well presented - and of course when your credibility goes up.

Also, with contributions to other threads - constructive ones that is with comments or analysis.

I don't think you should take it to heart, I've had reports that have yielded very littleK/As but once you start continuing to contribute, bros will take notice. At the end of the day, you're posting simply for the appreciation, it's more helping a bro out to either avoid a bad experience, or recommend a good WG with good service.

Hopefully there will be reciprocation but it's never guaranteed and can't be expected. I hope you continue to contribute, it's a good community here.

It's all about the report and pictures. I got to access 30 within like 2 months of proper usage and reporting.  Got shit loads of Karma when I posted real pictures of the girl and followed reporting format of Goose etc.

There are many other reports being posted every day, so your efforts are being reciprocated. This forum is mainly about sharing experiences about girls, and the rating system is a secondary mechanic to regulate quality of posts and access levels to content.

Treat this 'Reports by Nookie Newbies' forum as the training ground it is. Once you get to RA20 and posting reports to the Hong Kong section, they will get 2-3 times more readers.

Wow, when I read the title of this thread I thought it was all-time champion reporter Goose's
farewell to this forum, a notable event indeed. Then I checked and saw you had posted exactly
five reports, two of them very brief.

Many of us post reports as much as a record of the session for ourselves as for the bros. It's
nice to get appreciation for the work we put in, and I see you did receive quite a bit for your
later reports, especially the one with the real pic, so I don't know what you're complaining
about. Your credit to post ratio is about 4, which most bros would be ecstatic to have!

Admittedly there's a slight bias on this forum in favour of reports of HGs as opposed to walkups
and especially reports with real pics. That said, SkinnyForum said it all. Don't run before you
can walk. It's up to you whether to accept this forum for what it is or go elsewhere.

I think you write well and would be a valuable contributor to the conversation.
But it's your choice.

If you can get more pictures like that cleavage shot you will be up there in no time

I agree with you and all the other posters on this thread 100% - but I really think that all the previous replies to chap314 have been way too polite.

We come down a whole lot more on Karma whores - and actually award WK's with negative karmas instead - and now we have Chap314 basically throwing a temper tantrum and again basically saying that unless us guys give him more K's that he's gonna hold his breath until he turns blue?

Chap314 - you do whatever you want to do - but to me, this is total BS.  If we let you get away with this, then a lot of other newbies is gonna think the same way and act the same way.

All of us have had to work at being accepted here - and we all are still continuing to do so.  
You want to turn blue - go right ahead I say.

I must admit my initial reaction to the OP was to say, "Kwitcherbellyachin' and post some more reports,
otherwise don't let the door hit your ass on the way out."

However,

1. chap314 appears to have made a genuine effort to post readable reports. It may just be newbie impatience
he's displaying, wanting a short cut to the higher ranks without paying his full dues. Even Goose has said his
early reports only attracted a few karma each. As a reformed (?) KW yourself, you should understand the need
to have people read and appreciate your deathless prose.

2. Aren't we trying to be kinder and gentler with newbies these days, so as not to frighten them off? In that
spirit, I thought a friendly pep talk would be more in order. Regardless, SkinnyForum put it pithily and perfectly.

Come on - I'd say that somewhere deep down in all our hearts and soul, just about all of us do want recognition for taking the effort to post up anything.  

And besides which - what actually is wrong with wanting to get Karmas/credits if you are not actually "whoring" (oops sorry about the French!) for it.  And that's the difference as far as I'm concerned....and it's another step up (again  as far as I'm concerned) to actually be throwin' a temper tantrum and to actually demand K's!

OK, I may be a bit harsh and yes I'm all in favour of showing understanding/kindness to newbies to help them along - but I say there's got to be a limit to all this.  And for us to not put our foot down and actually draw the line would IMHO encourage other newbies down this wrong path.  

Look-it, I (and I'd think most of us here) had had my collar yanked one time or another in my "life" on 141 - and OK, it may have hurt like heck at the time - but it did teach me as to how far I can go with some of my nonsense.
Remember, we're all supposed to be adults on this site and throwing temper tantrums is not adult behaviour.

OK, I'll stop now as I know I've said enough - but that is what I think and if anyone disagrees, well, I hope we can just agree to disagree - or like someone said (Obama??) - we can agree to disagree - but we don't have to be disagreeable when not agreeing.

I haven't had time to type my other encounters yet but aren't pictures very hard to come-by? I've asked a few times and each time I've been politely shot-down.

I think, instead of having an automatic system like this, the mods should look at your report and after say 5 or 10 GOOD reports then they decide how much RA should be reward. This will help in terms of "karma whores" So for instance if the report is 1-5 lines then obviously the mod will take that into consideration but if the report is a good paragraph long and quite helpful then his efforts should be rewarded.

Just my two cents. Since being new here, I'm not sure how much is needed to contribute back into this forum to be accepted with a 20/30 RA. But if after a few good and detailed posts of encounters with HG's or WG's and nothing seems to happy, it just makes you double think, which is probably what chap314 is doing. Don't get me wrong, if effort wasn't put in then nothing should be rewarded and the same thing applies for either way.

If I may, allow me to take a shot at replying;

First thing first, let me suggest that you go back and read the "Getting Started" section and really read it instead of just skimming through it.  Skimming through this section was what I did when I first started here, and I did myself no favors doing it - as I ended up getting "my collar yanked" quite a few times.  

Yes, there doesn't seem to be any hard and fast "rules" on 141 - and the reason for this is that this forum relies on concensus opinion - from ALL members as well as the Mods/Admin etc - to develop a framework of favored AND acceptable ADULT behaviour.  We tend to self police and each member has the right to actually chastise (and of course reward) any other by use of the A and K points.  If such usage of points is not correct, you can see that other members will be quick to point it out and even reverse such.

Anyway, this being so does make it harder for a new participants here to actually realize what is OK or not OK - and thus my suggestion for you to really read and understand the "Getting started " section.

On the Mods - you have to understand that ALL the Mods are unpaid and volunteer workers who truly spend their time and effort to help out towards the best development of 141. They are truly the unpaid and unsung heros here - for I can really empathize with the frustration that I know they must at one time or another experience with characters like myself!!  But they stoically go on their job and try very hard to be objective.  Yeah - not always succesful - but its truly as good as anybody can expect - when too darn many misplaced "ires and complaints" are directed at them. The system you suggest will not only place undue burden on them, it is also not objective at all and will just cause all sort of objections and or appeal from everybody - for in the final analysis - what is a  good or bad post?

Our present system is NOT automatic as you you had stated - it is based upon all of us helping out by awarding or deducting points instead of just the Mods doing so.  ANYBODY can chime in his opinion of a particular post by the use of these points - and thus rest assured that if you do write a good post, then somebody WILL reward you with ++"s....and be equally assured that if you write a crap one - the Neg's will also come!

On pictures, from what I have read here as well as from enquiries etc - HG girls are quite cool with pictures if they think/know that you will write a favorable report HERE extolling their good service/beauty etc - as a sort of free promotion for her during her very short stay in Hong Kong to make $$. This whole site here used to be blocked by the Great Wall of China, plus even now, the DB's are NOT accessible from China (even if you use a proxy to try to access the DB from here in China, you will get re-directed to the Night Life web page).  This gives the girls comfort in thinking that their pictures and details are NOT going to get splashed back on the internet in their home town/China etc - and thus the gals think it OK to allow them if they are convinced that you showing their pictures and reporting on how good she is etc will help their business by popularizing them.

And no, of course we will not shoot the messenger - especially if like you, the messenger had written a well thought out (albeit IMHO a wrong idea tho!) and heart felt post. Actually that is PRECISELY how the "guidelines" we all subscribe to on this forum gets developed; somebody thinks of something, brings it up, we discuss it and come up with a concensus as to how to best handle this "something,"....and it becomes another guideline.

And so.... thank you for bringing this "something" up and my best wishes for an enjoyable and long membership here.

Sorry if i gave t he wrong impression, i am not trying to climb up the ladder and playing cry wolf here. I believe that i should only be given K and A's for my reports that are worthy of it only.

But i do believe that anyone that puts in an effort to post detailed reports should be rated by both the regular bros in here and especially newbies, it is the Newbies that are not supporting each other that im ranting about.

The point i was trying to get at was that i have made a big effort to put up posts and other Newbies are only reading my posts and not giving me support, whilst ive made an effort to rate their reports giving the one's i feel i should give A's to.

First, I should be careful to follow your own advice and not jump to conclusions,
since SEAJ, as far as I know, is neither sad nor a gweilo (don't know about old )
and telling him to go see a shrink is neither friendly nor respectful.

Secondly, as I pointed out above, you seem to have received a good share of Ks and As
for your latest reports. Now, it is possible that many if not most Noobies are unaware
that they can give out As - but is that really so important to you?

If I were someone just starting out on this forum, I would adopt a more modest attitude
and be seeking to learn as much as I can, rather than displaying an attitude of entitlement
and even what some who have paid their dues might take as arrogance. It is the same
in any group. You can be brash and self-confident, but a lack of respect for longtime members
will never go down well anywhere.

Hey, just to clarify on my end, i live in china and use a proxy to get on this site, and i can search the db without problems.  Maybe it works for some vpn's and not others.  Or maybe VPN's work and proxy's don't, since most vpn's have a subscription fee.
