19 arrested for luring Hong Kong teens into prostitution  Sept 21,2010

The suspects, men and women aged between 16 and 38, are accused of befriending the teens online then inviting them to meetings where they were persuaded or coerced into prostitution.

Police say some girls were seduced by members of the gang and then forced into prostitution under threat of having pictures of their sexual encounters put online.

Hint to others why most don't like there pictures taken. Working girls don't want members of their family knowing. Along with Edison Chen Scandal a few years ago it's harder to get pictures. Weelock.

The suspects were arrested after a six-month undercover police operation which involved officers going online to contact the people involved in the alleged scam.

A police spokesman said the suspects were being investigated for offences including controlling prostitution, using immoral earnings and criminal intimidation.
