I have offered one of my close friends who lives in Ipoh Malaysia a job in the UK......He is a family man and has a couple of gorgeous kids aged five and seven.....He is a bit uncertain about leaving his kids in Malaysia but his mother in law will be staying with the kids in the same house whilst his wife will be coming to the UK with him.....

The kids will come later on when i have sorted out all the legal matters.. .( Why is it harder for people with Malaysian passports to get residency in the UK..)

RICO tells him to get a maid to look after his kids while he's away.. He wasn't really that keen on the idea and said that he will convince his wife to stay until i have sorted shit out... How much can a maid cost to hire i say objectively to him....

This world has all sorts, which is all I can say.  If you employ a maid, it's better to choose one who has been with the same employer for at least two contracts.

Wow, that is just unreal, kicking and stomping on a little kid. Wonder whatever happened to the Maid after getting caught. I hope the kid didn't have to put up with this abuse for a long period time, definitely would scar the kid thinking why my parents leaves me with this person.

This video has been around for ages, and remains one of the worst things to see. It's brought up every time people talk about abusive maids.

Do you know what happened to that sadistic maid...Did she get what was coming to her...

Thank fuck for CCTV...I dread to think what would of become of that child if the parents hadn't of bothered to invest in some recording equipment....

No idea what happened to her, but I hope she is regretful and sorry for what she did, and has to live and remember it for the rest of her life.

Watching this just makes me angry. If I was the parent I would just beat the crap out of this maid and break all her limbs. How can you do that to a small child?

many of you live in hk, what do you use to reference check before employing maids?

It's certainly a challenge, not much to go on.  And they're under enormous pressure to pay back loans to their local agents and "schools".

1. must have previous employment history, with at least one full unbroken contract  
2. better if her previous employer extended her contract
3. phone the previous employer
4. use a psychometric assessment
5. formal structured interview technique
6. interview tricks, try to catch her out
