So given that mongering is a definite plus when I travel to HK for business, I always pick a hotel in the TST area and order the girls to my room.  

I love W hotels all over the world but when it comes to mongering in HK, it does not work well.  First, you have to take an elevator inside the hotel just to get to the lobby, which confuses the hell out of the WGs.  Then, as many/most higher end or newer hotels do, you need a room key to access the elevators to floors with the rooms.  

I had a real crappy time needing to go down 2 sets of elevators for every WG visit cause they get confused.  The papasan calls me up in my room all confused...it's just a real hassle and a mood killer.   Not to mentioned the fact that it feels like 1/2 the hotel knows you're mongering. So in my book, the W is the nicest hotel in TST, so it should be THE place to stay in HK if you like to monger- but after my experiences, i'd pass....stay at the Sheraton or something where WGs can go directly to your room.

Is the Eaton Hotel considered high end?  Is this a good place to order take-out?

Eaton is a 3 star rated hotel so not considered high end.

Well, based from experience, I guarantee you that FS and MO HK are ok for WGs.   They don't ask any questions and will let the WGs up to your room if you confirm with them that you know them.  Heck, if you ask the concierge for "companionship" they will even recommend some WGs for you.

Except for 1 or 2 hotels on HK side, ALL hotels in HK are monger friendly ...
its just a matter of the extent of this friendliness !!!

sorry, I'm a little slow at the moment... what's the W hotel? keep in mind you are referring to the hotel you stay at not the hotel that the WG is waiting for you at so I think no drama to "un code"?

there are a few hotels that require use of your room key/card to operate the elevator but I would say much less than half (in TST at least).

Keep in mind the lobby staff know a WG when they see one, and they find out which room she's visiting more to protect you than anything else. So coming down stairs to "collect" your WG is a bit of a hassle maybe but it is not revealing anything extra they wouldn't know anyway... and lobby staff in HK Hotels are very discrete.

Last December I stayed at the MP Prince with 3 buddies and we were there for a week. Every night we came back at about 3 in the morning and each night all 4 of us brought girls back. I had the same girl each night because I'm boring but my friends had an assortment of Africa, Asia, South America and Russia. Every night different and every night walked past the same lobby staff and every night we smiled at each other and said a polite "good evening"... never a problem.

Mongering in HK hotels is an absolute joy because the staff know exactly what's going on and providing you are cool, they just mind their own business and allow you to enjoy yourself. It's great!

The W is the hotel name.  It's right on top of the Kowloon stop of the airport train.  So not only is it very nice, but it's super convenient.  

I'm not saying the hotel will boot the WG or even you out of the room.  The hassle comes with having to go pick themup and the hotel is not exactly going to go out of their way to help a WG get to your room if she has no clue what she's doing.  

My point is that if you plan on mongering and are lazy like me, you're probably going to order take out.  If you do, my advice is to stay away from the hotels that require key access to elevators, with the W being an extra pain in the ass given the 2 flights of elevator and confusing layout for the WG.  

I had 2 girls during that last trip, separately.   Was very disappointing- so much so that I would rather forget than to write about it!

OK- I guess not writing about it now is kinda BS so....

First chick really pissed me off.  Being from the US, I had been doing research beforehand and was lining up who I'd call when i get to the room.  I think it was my 3rd choice that was actually available when I called so already it took a bit of time.  Then with the W issues, it took maybe an hr for the girl to come up.  also, it was late at night and I planned on having her sleep over.  By the time she came over, it was mad late....then the real problem...
It was a TOTAL bait and switch.  But it was so late, i was so annoyed and worked up, i just kept it.   She was definitelynot the girl in the pic and definitely sub-par compared to the looks of the girl I picked.

Anyway, we go up to the room.  We're making small talk.  Things were cool....we did our thing- pretty standard:  we showered together, moved to the bed, a few positions and I popped.  It was very non-memorable.  I think i was just soannoyed with everything.  I got so annoyed that I asked her to leave after I showered.  Told her I had work to do andI couldnt spend more time with her.   I gave her an extra large tip and sent her away.  She was happy with the tip.  I think she wanted to stay and was disappointed, but hey, I felt like I was the one that was screwed over.

So the next girl, things were only slightly better.  Ordered it very early- 11 am'ish cause I had a flight to catch.   Being so early, many of the girls I called for weren't available yet even though it was within the start time on the web - so I guess another item to note.

Finally got one, and I honestly dont even remember how many others I called beforehand.  Went through the W issuesand now were paranoid that I'd miss my flight!  She was who she was I believe.  Slightly less attractive than the pic butwasnt too far off.  The experience was decent- again, usual stuff, but this time, it was all me cause I needed to get to the airport.  So I had the W and the flight on my mind and really didnt get to enjoy it.

anyway....I'm hoping for better luck next trip....

well Bro, if convenience is what you're looking for... stay at the Holiday Inn on Nathan Rd and do your mongering at Hari's Bar down stairs... doesn't get much more convenient than that!

I usually stay at the Intercontinental. There you also need a key crad to use the lists after a certain time of day. I always tell the agent to send the gal to the 1st floor where some restaurants are and call me when they arrive. It works and it is certainly less people seeing you and is less way for the walk of shame but everyone knows what s going on in these hotels anyway

it is always bad if you do not have a connection with an agent. If I come over I only stay for 4 or 5 days and that only 4 times a year. Therefore I book only Bond girls. He knows me and greets me by name when I call, I know him, I have his vip number and he sends the girls over and I have never been B&S yet. it is the only solution to us visitors and I would highly recommend that you try to stick to one agent and establish some rapport with him. It also helps if you call after the date and give some feedback to the agent. He will remember you more easily when you call again...

W Hotel is the trendy, chic brand of the Starwood Group, which includes Westin, Sheraton, Four Points, etc.

in HK its atop the Airport Express Kowloon Station and the Elements Mall (very nice mall by the way)

Thanks for the tip NYC101.    The next time I go to HK I will avoid the W Hotel, and I will make sure the hotel I stay in does not require a key card to get to the room!

If they are HGs, you can always overnight in their room.

You lose out the convenience of your own room though. One or two of the agents didn't "trust" me enough to overnight it at my room.

Also some WGs only have one bed which is if you sleep on that one. A few of the WGs I've done overnight with usually has 2 beds in there.

There are plenty of hotels in HK that do not require key card access.  For convenience factor, you can book a room at the same hotels where the HGs are.  That solves everything since the HGs are at the same hotel, they are comfortable there as they are guests, and there is no way they will forget or get lost on the way to your room, lol.

Unfortunately, I can't stay in those hotels as my company requires me to stay in approved hotels.  That being said, I guarantee that 5-star hotels that I've stayed at are discreet and more than ok to let HGs up to your room.  They call your room and confirm that you're expecting a friend, and once you say ok, they let them up.  No muss, no fuss.  I've never been stopped or reprimanded either.

What about the Mira Hotel in TST? Does anyone has any feedback about that one ?
I don't think I'm gonna make the girls come over though and Champagne Court is like few meter away

thanks for the tip dbg00- that makes sense.  Unfortunately, I'm in town only once a yr, maybe less, so I dont think it's possible to build a repore with any specific agent.  Plus, the pics from the DB makes me have specific targets and that's what I'd rather focus on, instead of random luck from a specific provider.  I think the bait and switch thing is the only real downside.  Don't know if there's anything to avoid that or tricks to make it happen less frequently....
