i've seen some of the escort agency websites that you are referring to. A lot of those pics are definately fake. At least on 141 the pics are real (just ps'ed pics). On the agency's websites in HK the photos sometimes are of celebrities, or stock photos. Not even close to the actual model. Plus you probably wont find reviews or reports of other people that have tried the agencies before. I would stick to the 141 girls unless you actually know someone that has tried those agencies before.

I agree with darmour88, a lot of the websites are fake with pornstar pictures. It also appears that there are far more western looking escorts, which is suspicious to me.

At least here you can read reports, recommendations and see what the girl and the agents are like, before plunging. Whereas you have no guarantees on escort websites.

I find it a lot more different than it is in London, where some of the websites are more reputable so you feel less likely of being duped.

I think the catch will be that the advertised cost only gets her through the door.  You will likely pay through the nose for anything else.  Be careful

Several years ago when I was first getting started at this (before 141 was a big hit), I tried some escort agencies in Hong Kong. I agree with all the negative comments above and will also add that you get the bait and switch a lot more.

Pretty much unless you ask for a white chick, you are going to get a Philippine chick. Not that I have anything against them, but when you ask for a Hong Kong girl (in Hong Kong) and get a Philippine chick, that's a BIG mis-representation.

The escort agencies in Hong Kong promise you everything, no matter how much you plead with them and tell them you got B&S'd before and tell them that you will cancel if they send you the wrong kind of girl, they will still do it... and expect you to pay a cancellation fee.

On the rare occasion I did get the kind of girl I was looking for (usually Russian) the fees that they quoted were for a 'massage' that didn't include full service.. and full-service was exorbitantly higher.

Nonetheless, some escort agencies in other countries I've had good experience with. I guess just because mongering here is technically legal and its' so easy to get off-the-shelf girls - the escort agencies here are trying to cater to those that are not familiar with the local etiquette and are essentially hoping to rip people off that don't know better.

Most Asian run escorts in North America are like that as well, almost half the time the girl is not remotely similar to the add, so that's why since I've been relying on websites such as this, perb, terb, etc. as a source of information before making the call, it's always very tempting to try out one of the escort when their picture on the webpage is that alluring, but more time than not, that's not her.

i have had some good encounters with escorts in HK, photos were always genuine and less PS than 141 and 1500HKD for 2hrs multiple shots is pretty good value.
