Miranda Barker's email exposing sleazy Barclays worker goes viral

Another example of so called freebies being far more expensive than WG's.

PA Miranda Barker's email exposing sleazy Barclays worker goes viral
                From:

        ▪        PA warned secretaries of "sex pest"
        ▪        Email leaked out onto the internet
        ▪        Bank bosses considering firing her
A BANK secretary sent hundreds of staff a "drunken" email warning them off a sleazy co-worker.
Miranda Barker fired off the alert late at night to every secretary at investment giant Barclays Capital in London but the message was then passed on to thousands of other people, The Sun reported.
She said the IT worker was "sleeping his way around all of the secretaries" and “was very persistent".
Ms Barker, who is in her 20s, claimed a friend who left the company asked her to pass on the warning because she contracted a sexually transmitted disease from him.
She included a description of the man.
The email, sent from her account, even copied him and all his bosses in on it - along with hundreds of secretaries across the investment bank's headquarters.
The bank, which is based at London's Canary Wharf, tried to prevent the email from leaking out but were unable to stop employees forwarding it to people at other banks.
It has now leaked on to the internet.
A source at the bank told The London Evening Standard: “There was most likely a bit of alcohol involved. I can't see a good reason for sending something like that.
“She sent it from her work email which is a breach of our company policy. She woke up the next day realising she had done something really stupid.”

Barclays are considering whether or not to fire Ms Barker.
