Nah, where there's high return, there should be some risk.  James Bond (Sean Connery) is a gambling man, so you'd appreciate that.   

When you buy a raffle ticket, there's still a charge, so whoever gets less than 3 correct, I will neg 2k (the cost of a ticket).  But if noone gets less than three correct, somebody can neg me 15K.  Could make it more interesting.

I certainly agree to this No risk, No reward policy. Perhaps losers only get -12 'k'. However, if there is a risk, then one should be able to make up to 3 attempts to be fair. Total loss of 36 k's if wrong vs a reward of 50 k's if correct. There would certainly be more calculated attempts and this makes things a bit more interesting.

Three Attempts = Three Tickets = - 6K (assuming all are less than 3)
Also, less than 5 is -1K.  

So, the cost of the ticket:
0-2 correct = -2K
3-4 correct = -1K

If everybody has 3-8 correct, I will lose -15K.  

However, the cost is much less than the treasure box: 50K.  Worth the risk.  

To make it fair, ramont and cpstunnaz are exempt from this charge since they bought their tickets before my cost was announced.

Yes, cpstunnaz and ramont should not be penalized for the change in the rules but barred from making further guesses. This puts a spin on the entire quiz and there would be more participation but bro Tony Toro would have to to spend a lot of time tabulating all the negative k's for each submission. Anybody good at accounting here? Any volunteers here willing to summarize all the results?

Interesting twist! So when you guys talk about a "ticket", it's a straight neg rating for every entry, even before the answer is revealed?

TD: I don't know why you're putting yourself forward for potential negs - isn't that kind of like being a bookie? Is it necessary?

Sorry to go off topic but I still have not figured out what the Money rating is all about and could not find any reference to this in the Getting Started Section. Please enlighten me.

I was thinking of play now, pay/gain later.  Just like the loan sharks. Haha I just added myself as the house, as the house sometimes loses. I must be a sadist, but the risk of being whacked is kind of fun.hahaha
