New Asian Mall - Toronto - Biggest in North America

There planning to build a new Asian mall in Markham (Toronto), its suppose to be the largest in North America. It will be called King Square and be nearly 1 million square feet.

Dont really go to pacific mall anymore, so not sure how amazing this will be if its just more of the same.

Most new giant malls aren't that interesting unless there's some attractions (i.e. the aquarium at the dubai mall).

Hmm...hopefully the awesome CAD/USD exchange rate will hold up so us Americans can take advantage of all the new shopping venues

you know what the best thing about an Asian mall is?  (well, applies to Silicon Valley San Jose).  Whereever there are Asian malls, i.e. with a large Asian grocery store as the anchor (Ranch 99, Lion, Marina), there will be plenty of private places available within walking distance - AAMPs or micros, depending on what you call them.

I love Ranch 99...although their meat/fish section smells not so great...reminds me of the open air markets in HK

Bigger doesn't always mean better. I'm sure they will have the same typical shopping stores at a higher price since the building isn't cheap to build.
