I've been to HK, it's okay.  My opinion is Cleveland is way better.  Better looking women and much more, yeah there is crime but when I was in HK there was
someone spraying ppl with chemicals.  Plus all the nasty food and no hardly speaks English.  Also gotta love all that pollution being pushed towards HK in the summer
months from China.

Dude, you are coming across as the Ugly American.  Americans used to get away with that attitude years ago, but no longer, definitely not in the last 10 years.  

Yes, in many ways, America has cleaner air, more cultural events and institutions, and a more relaxed lifestyle, but the way most Americans are living, they don't really appreciate their advantages.  What is the point of having alot of fresh foods and clean air if most ppl don't eat well and don't exercise ending severely obese!  The midwest and Texas are known for their density of obese and overweight ppl.

Hong Kong is most expensive city for rental accommodation in Asian, averaging top 5 each year. Apartments average over 8500 USD a month.  Even a 2 star hotel will cost about $50 to 60USD a night.  Do your home on the web for a place. I guess you can try renting a room out from someone on HK, craigslist.

I also suggest trying Shenzhen, China. It's only about 30-45 mins away from TST.  It's much cheaper but hardly anybody speaks English there. The next problem, in Shenzhen the crime rate is extremely high compared to HK.   


That the main reason why the French hate Americans are peopple like you. The American think they own everything and nobody speaks English when visiting France. Damn Stupid America-nos tourist. In general, most tourist are like that. You are in a different country and culture. What do you expect ? I strongly suggest you learn something about the culture before visiting a place.

Been to Cleveland 2 years ago and honestly think it's a scary place. Drug peddling right in the heart of the city and so much unemployment and crime everywhere. Yet you are touting Cleveland to be one of the best cities. Best you just stay in your wonderful city and spare us your demeaning remarks about HK. Sorry if you can't afford more than US$300 a month to stay in HK but its is not exactly a city for backpackers on such a budget.

And you got ripped for your other post because it was ludicrous that you were expecting to be able to find extremely cheap rent in Hong Kong.  You'll have the same difficulties trying to find similar rent in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, etc...maybe not in Cleveland...
