If file location data is uploaded with a pic, I would think it would be discoverable with a just a text editor and not require a hack, no?  Aw, what do I know anyway.  The thing that concerns me is the inadvertent data that sometimes gets included in a file.  So you think you're uploading a picture, but in the information about that picture is included the file you uploaded it from and even the name of your computer (if you assigned it one).  Sort of like how the iPhone includes physical location data with pics, but this would be tagging a pic with the computer and file it's stored on.
