There are so, so, so many times that real pics posted here on the 141 forum have saved me 700 HKD and an hour or two.

I sometimes see an ad, think "oh, she's hot," then check for real pics in the forum, and... never mind! Without this forum, that moment of disappointment would come up only in the room, and I'd probably still go through with it.

How about you? Do the real pics ever make you more likely to visit a WG? For me, maybe it's happened, but never that I can specifically recall.

Pics obviously help you to narrow down the search. However I thought the bros who visit the wgs and provide their time and effort to write about their mongering activities is the most important factor in picking your target?

Even 'real pics' can be deceiving! Sure, they are not photoshopped, but lighting, camera angle and quality and the photographers skill all play a part - how many times have you read - "She looked much better than in my pics"?

I guess the pics are an influencing factor, just like the DB pics and (probably most importantly) the reports by fellow members. I suppose I would place more weight on the 'real pics' than the DB.

This ties in closely to the oft debated "better sex or better looks" realm. If you want the former, read the reports, but for the latter, look at the pics!

agree with AP...real pics help me out but more importantly I gain valuable information from the reports...

It doesn't matter if the girl looks exactly the same as the DB if her service is terrible...

Given a forced choice between real pics with no report, or detailed report with no pics, I'd go for the detailed report.

But you did write elsewhere that looks are 80% of the experience. I remember because I agreed with you. So why would you prefer a detailed report that covers 20% of the experience, rather than a real pic that covers 80% of the experience? Doesn't seem to make sense, unless you trust the profile pics - and who does that?

Also, just because a bro gets good service from a girl doesn't guarantee that the next bro will get the same.

For me, the real pics are the most important part of a report but, of course, I also like to read a well-written report.

I don't think that a real pic has actually saved me money. It might have saved me some time, but not money.

To me the report is always the most important thing because a good report will tell you about the service given by the girl. Its the service that is hidden and you cannot usually tell that by just looking at the girl. Whereas if you get to the door and the girl opens it, and you don't like what you see, then you can just turn around and leave. This means you might waste some time, but not money.

What a real pic does then, is if I don't like what I see in the real pic, then I won't call the number. So time is saved. Real pics are just a bonus to the reports.

I dont write often here and do scourge the forum and read up about reports.
Obviously every report will interest me depending on the WG and how you guys felt about her..
Since i don't show up in HK often, the real pics does help me focus on ones i might feel attracted to and go for those specific rendez-vous..

the posts don't really save me money, because it's money I'm going to spend anyway.  But it definitely helps me get the most bang for my buck.

the real life pictures are of course helpful.  With the way they are photoshopping these girls, it's always nice to check the forum to make sure you're getting what is advertised.

For me it is invaluable to get other people's experience with certain girls, particularly if service is bad.  I find it also educational to see how the photoshopping is done between real and db pictures so I know sort of what to expect when a new girl appears in the db.

The question was whether real pics had 'saved' me, and the answer's no ...

not because I don't like the real pics, actually I love em and go looking for em ...

but the truth is the gap between the db pics and reality is small enough for me to be satisfied most of the time.  I seem to have been lucky even with pixellated face pics, or maybe I can recognise the most obvious editting and compensate for it, but I can't recall any situation where a real pic made me decide not to visit: the bro's rating /5 is already a good indication that I follow.  

Guess I'm saying doing a good-looking girl is indeed a high priority, but there's plenty that satisfy my criteria (at my preferred price point and geographic location) so finding good looks isn't the major challenge, it's pretty much a given.

I will go with the details of the report every time over real photos of the girls. The reports offer insight into the attitude of the girl unlike the photos which only seem to show what a pro the person using photoshop is.

Even though YMMV regarding your experience with the girl, it helps weed out the girls who offer very low value in terms of customer satisfaction compared to those that place a value on satisfying their clients.

I'm almost the inverse of D'Artagnan.  I'll go for hot real pics over the report content . . . up to a point of course.  If the report is a total bummer then it's no go, but if she's hot and the report is middlin' then I still figure there's something to work with and will give the hottie a try.

I love the real pics and applaud the brothers with the skill and panache to collect them.  However, there's often not enough real pics to help me out because I don't live here, so frequently the HG in question is gone by the time I arrive.  Still, the real pics are fun even if they just add to our reading pleasure.

If the gal looks great without any photoshop effect then the trip is worth it.

not totally inverse - I also go for the pics first.  But I find the db pics usable, since I can estimate actual looks allowing for PS etc.  

My point is that a real pic gives less of an edge over the DB pics than the report does.  

Pics are always good ... but I want personality, service and technique as well ... which neither a PS'd nor real pic can give any insight into.

Now that 'estimation' part you refer to... welll not everyone is good at. So, real pix are like gold ,)
