It seems to have been a bikini contest held by a property developer in Chongqing (Chungking) in mid-August to showcase their new property development.  Event was held on their new lake with a nice artificial beach.  Because the prize was about RMB10,000, the contest attracted almost 100 girls in bikinis.  Ppl wont be seeing any of these contests again anytime soon with all the recent anti-corruption/anti-triad campaign against corrupt top govt officials, property developers, business men, and triads in Chongqing.

This reminds me of 18 in Macao. Much smaller scale of course. I heard Shenzhen or Donguan may have larger scale indooe pick and choose venues!
