I stumbled across this site and think it is awesome.

I am coming to HK for a week on 14th Nov and then China for 2 weeks can't wait to  start sampling the menu.  

I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I have never been to HK so am a bit worried about not fitting or doing something to insult the culture?? I dunno

Is there a post on advice for new comers that covers this aspect and also where to go, how to get there etc.

I'm staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui Kowloon.

honestly, no worries i wont flame you or anything but there is plenty of Q and A to bring you around HK.

Most of the addresses here are google map searchable, so just find one you think you may like and browse through.

when i first came back, i actually took 1-2 nights/days and scoured at least 1-2 locations in each place in the database to get a feel of what and where.

if you can, ask a specific question and I will try my best to help you out....for example, what are you looking for, what do you want etc etc whats your budget and what do you think about walk ups or massages and etc....like if you wanna blow 1-2K on dirty pussy, go to wan chai bars...you knw

you have to ask more specific questions.  Otherwise, how the heck would we know what you like to do and want to do?

I say, read, read and study this site, get the google maps and figure out where you are going to be, and where you want to go.  It's gonna take you a good 2o hours of reading, but it will be well worth it.

HK is a cosmopolitan city and very Western compare to many other Asian cities, so dont worry you will be fine.  Just respect the local culture and use common sense.  For your first experience, I suggest you visiting one of the 141 buildings..IE Fuji in causway bay or champange building in tsim tsa tsui.  They are whorehouses with  many levels, cant go wrong.  If you have the budget, visit one of the saunas in Macau. As one bro said earlier, Macau is a disneyland for hobbyist..and everything goes.  Welcome to my HK

I will arrive at about 5pm after an 8 hour flight so don't think I'll make it to Macau on the first day/night. It also seems to be quite expensive compared to what you can get locally. I dunno just my POV seems a bit expensive and for what? I was actually quite keen on the racetrack but I have been extremely disappointed  based on most of the reports.

Yes saunas are expensive, and they are not just a fuck per se, but rather the whole experinece which is rather worthwile.  It is relaxing in that you can soak in the jacuzzi for a while, lie down on the lounge, read some mags, get a footsie..so forth all anticipating the main event.  Its this whole experience that i find worthwhile.  If you are short on time or the budget, then you should skip it.  If in Macau, also find time to visit the mall in Lisboa Hotel aka "sand circle".  This is where you see many whores walking around in circle soliciting business.  Go for the experinece, its quite interesting.

I suggest NOT trying places like Fuji bdg or Champagne court first up - even in the afternoon you will get
