Hi Bros, I'll be on a 3 week vacation in October going arround asia for some mongering action and wondered if you guys have some suggestion as to where I could spend 5 days So the plan is... - Hong Kong - 141 scene (will be my first time) - Macau - hit the saunas - KL - maybe orchid towers or SW - Bangkok - cupidy was good last time I tried so maybe I'll try Poseidon. Soi Nana is a must too - 5 days somewhere - Back to HK for my connecting flight home.... I was thinking of 5 more days in HK but it could get dull during the day time! Cheers! If it's the choice between adding 5 days in HK or 5 days in BKK, I personally would go with the HK route.  Quite simply, there's much more to see in HK as a tourist. From a mongering standpoint, there's always SZ and DG as well to discover.

#4 Post at 31-8-2009 08:57  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Reply #1 hichu79's post Depending on what you are doing and if you have a double visa to China as well.  HK is not somewhere I would call dull, mongering will get tiring because a man can only shoot so much but HK is full of sights, places to go and the food is to die for.  If I had 5 days in HK, I would spend my time enjoying TST, Mong Kok, perhaps even heading up to the Big Buddha via the cable cars.  Mongering can only take so much time you know?  A trip into Donguan, maybe GZ, SZ, Xinhui or Shunde since they are all relatively close.  Personally, I would end up spending two days in one of these places while renting out a whore for the time being.  Hotels in China are so damn cheap for incredible rooms.

Thanks for the suggestions about HK, but I forgot to mention that I go there quite frequently with family so have done the touristy things. First time that I get to go solo China sounds like a good suggestion - will have to look into getting a visa.... else there always making my Bangkok trip longer or actually stopping off in Sinapore! As suggested, I'll have another dive through the threads for some inspiration... and visit tripadvisor for daytime activities Hichu79

Both Singapore (is a hub) as well as Hong Kong (also a hub) are good choices. From Singapore, you can take a short flight to Jakarta which offer some nice places to punt, not forgetting Ho Chi Minh City. Tiger Air and JETSTAR offer dirt cheap fares to these destinations. In Hong Kong, it is, of course, Go Macau - Zhu Hai - Dong Guan - Shen Zhen route if you have an additional 5 days. Be prepared to be super tired if you monger everyday and every place. And don't forget to come back with a report on this trip. SHow some gratitude by posting some field report. I am sure all of us would like to know your experience.
