Getting curious again!

Seems like there are lots of regular WG mongers here so I'm wondering how it hurts your pocket. Honestly, I get a fat paycheck (6 figures monthly ) but still find $800-1000 for a 1 hour session rather expensive. I was very tempted to try the twins (after reading the juicy reviews) but opted against it cos it was $1600 an hour!!! Damn that's more than MY hourly rate! Am I being cheap? Please let me know. Thanks!

Even 3000 an hour doesn't sting if it is good sex. I only regret spending when it's shit; a buyers remorse if you will. But seriously, with your fat paycheck (6 figures monthly ) you could be able to do the twins every night after work without too bigger impact on your quality of life.

Then I must be a cheapo....or maybe I'm just not used to purchasing WG services. But you're right....it's a matter of money well spent!

I don't think I commented on ALL of you having bad taste. I commented on 1 or 2 maybe with strong wordings but it was how I felt.

I did VISIT the girls on my hot list but didn't have sex with them cos it seemed like a bait & switch (which I wasn't aware was so common). My first report was AFTER I saw the first bunch & finally found 1 which matched the website photos.

After having my first WG, I found $800+100 tips was a bit hard to digest for a 1 hour fun. That's why I posted my question. I am fine spending on branded good which can be used repeatedly. Like I said, I've yet to see the value of the WG experience. Just a personal feeling.

Thoughout, I've been honest. Maybe a bit too honest but I'm not the kind to hold back on a comment just for "respect" sake. I am entitled to my opinion.

You have a 6 figure pay check and you charge less then 1.6K / hour to your clients ?

I charge $5000 per day. But my "paycheck" isn't based on that because I'm the boss of a company so I have people working for me. Charge between $3000-4000 for their work as well. Sorry if it wasn't clear.

Dunno what industry you're in, but that seems low for the boss of a professional service business.  Have you tried increasing it?  
You can give existing clients a "discount" but increase your rates 20% for new clients.  Likely to find you get better clients and make more money with more free time.  If you're bullish, go for a bigger jump.

Given that we read in the newspapers everyday about company profits taking a hit, I don't think raising prices is a good idea. Clients would probably think "What the heck! We're in a recession and u raise price? Take a hike!" So I'm playing it safe. Not that I don't want to charge more. Plus, we're already working with muiltnationals.

Yeah twice, we charge by the day. Projects lasts a few months on the average so we sell "packages". Lawyers charge by the hour those bloodsuckers (sorry to any lawyers here) but they're a different story cos the rate is "fixed" by the industry.

Bro TheReviewer, okay you earn 6 figure monthly package, so HK$100,000 pm if we take the minimum possible, which IMO is borderline "fat paycheck", so it's likely you earn more?

To answer your question, yes you are being cheap to complain about paying the going rates for "1 hour of fun". Some people on the "fat paycheck" will spend this on a bottle of wine when eating out and think nothing of it.

Sure, but if one did not draw the line somewhere one would be broke.  I like to play golf and bang WG's.  I played Pebble Beach this year twice and $375 each round.  But I would not go over to the the local massage parlour and bang a chick there for $100, so does that make me cheap?  I don't think so.  Everyone has their own priorities, and spends their discretionary income on things that they value higher.   Nowadays, I only monger in the Far East as I feel I get more value to my money.

By the way, is there an income tax in Hong Kong?

Hey Kaka, I think you're being unfair hammering him -10k without giving a strong and clearly understandable reason.  

That's a huge hit, why?  What's he done?  

Give him feedback.  Explain.  OK pick his posts apart and try to beat some common sense and respect into him.  It's not just for him, but for all other posters, newbies and lurkers who are watching and wondering whether this is a community they want to be active in.  

But at the moment it looks like you just don't like the guy, and that's unfair to everyone.

yes there's income tax - about 16% at the moment (sorry to be vague: it's so low I don't even pay attention to the figure!!)
