#1 Post at 29-7-2009 02:55  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Problem with iPhone 3G[S] Just a little question to you bros with the 3GS. After a long debate on whether or not to buy the 3GS. I did immediately when it first came out. The question is: Do you guys experience any icons changing its picture after you resumed from standby? ie: Fast Contacts icon would become the Live Poker icon picture. What I did was to un-install it from iTunes and re-install it again. Its now becoming a regular thing. I approached Apple and are awaiting feedback. Before I go and physically hard reset the damm thing. Is there any better ways to solve this situation

#2 Post at 29-7-2009 07:41  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L i've not heard of this kind of problem before.  It could be a application conflict whereby some of the apps are not working too well with ur phone. Try and do a restore on Itunes of a back up date.  Unless you've done that, try deleting some of the possible apps that could be conflicting and see if it works.

Agree with polomint, do a clean build of your OS. Might be best to download a fresh copy of 3.0 OS to rebuild your phone. The apple support team would do the same as it's a software issue and not hardware related. If it was hardware issue,they would replace the phone for you. Good luck...

#4 Post at 29-7-2009 10:21  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L That's strange I've not had that happening to me at all. Agree that you should put your phone in restore mode and do a clean install. Make sure to back up everything on your phone first on itunes.

If happens again, they will replace it with a new one. Jesus, I put on a iMask skin which cost $168 which protects the whole iphone. But its great without adding any bulk to it. Just hope it doesn't breakdown ........
