Okay, this is a bit off the beaten path, but hey.  On my next visit to HK, I won't be alone for most of the trip, I have a couple of friends coming with me (female, but "good" catholic girls!), I am thinking to surprised them with a decent and relaxing "spa" style experience.   Nothing off the chart price wise, but something entertaining and relaxing that will make them feel good.   Veg of course.

Any suggestions to a place that could handle a guy and a couple of girls?  (and no, not you guys, down boys!)

...this trip will be locked up with some family rather than being alone with the exception of 4 days in China (which will hopefully exhaust me).  But I love massages and would love to get some veggie massages in if they are cheap in HK.  Last time I was in TST, the fucker asked for 500 for a veggie massage, I was thinking to myself, I could get 2 veggies massages and lunch for that price.

yeah, I sort of figured out that the hotel's massage thing would be entirely over priced and problem very worthless, plus likely not timed very well.  At $1000 per hour, I figure they have to be kidding me.

I sort of have extra motives on this one too - showing the girls what massage is in theory means that I can say I went for a massage and never get questioned beyond the "oh, was it nice".  Sort of like buying cover.

Also, any good foot massage places (mainland style?).  I love a good foot massage, but don't want to end up in a non-veg place.  I am also considering a run to Shenzen, but I have a weird feeling that every foot massage place will be like a BBS - no hair getting cut, no feet getting rubbed!

Have tried a few in TST - one of the better ones (both service AND value) is called Zen.  It's just at the North end of Hankow Rd.  

Clean, well run, the girls do a great job and are genuinely skillful, you can have foot massage or full oil massage, or whatever you fancy on the scale in between.  

and the sign on the door says "no sex service" - so you're safe w/ your veggie friends.  

Don't tell them who sent you!  

If you're thinking about bringing your girls to a sauna with proper facilities and
expect to get a massage with them in the same room - forget it, its illegal in HK !
At best, some saunas offer (not all saunas cater to women) segregated facilities and massage rooms.

If you want to take them to one of the smaller foot massage places that offers massage on the side
(I say this because most of these places are only licensed to do foot massage and facials) then you will
all be together.

Expect costs to be around $150 - $250 per session (45 mins) in a proper sauna and one is expected to tip.
Costs for massages at these foot massage places are around $100 - 180 per session.

If you go across the border to Lowu, there are 2 veggie massage saunas (full facilities) in the building
right after you leave immigration. There you can be in the same room for the massage.
Costs there are around RMB 60 - 90 for 2 sessions (120 mins).

Sunny Sauna on Lockhart Road, Wanchai has facilities for both males and females.  I am not sure but I could hv swore I shared a room with my SO.  We both had our assigned masseuse and we in the same room.  No problem at all.  Maybe it was we went late at night after midnight.

And there is another place where we went only for the accupressure masssage, no sauna or spa, and we also allowed to share a room.  Maybe things have changed.

Sunny Paradise does have separate facilities for male & female ... and the massage rooms are also saperate.
There are big windows in every room so I know here's no way they'll allow females into the male massage area !

Theas accupressure places or foot massage places will allow sharing ...

Veg massages - Isn't that what Thai-delight was doing with that cucumber of his?

But if you must go back to my youth, I was like one of those baby deer who's up and running a few minutes after being dumped in the dirt by his mother. I was already humping at 16 yrs old. Once you've had a taste of the real thing, nothing else will do.

But I'll admit to being curious - so what was your favorite kind of tree 2/wk? Was there anyone special?

I grew up in a concrete jungle ... only saw trees in text books !

Thanks for some of the tips guys, it doesn't have to be all of us in the same room (interesting, but not the point) but certainly just so the rest of the crew has a decent time and doesn't think of me as such a purve after.

if you can get to shenzhen, go to queens sauna...big and good.
