[Bay Area] Asking to see line up

How would you guys go about seeing lineups and requesting certain providers, every time I go in it’s either hit or miss and I’m tired of spending money on less attractive providers. I kind of feel like an asshole if I were to just say never mind after walking in so I just take what I get but I’m honestly over it at this point. Any help or tips is much appreciated!

For a shop, feel free to ask for a lineup since they rarely have real photos etc. For me, if there is nothing I may opt for the basic package and chalk it up as a lesson learned. I have also walked if its really bad and say something like "I was hoping for [random name]".

For apartments, they tend to do a better job with quality control and usually you schedule with someone ahead of time. They are never going to be like the photos but it shouldn't be that bad, especially if you do your research (ie reviews) about the agency. If you're not pleased, communicate with the booker and let them know and they may have options - you don't want to be blackballed and they tend to operate multiple fronts. Personally never been disappointed but I also did not frequent them.

Good luck.
