I sometimes envy the hell out of those who live near the ´motherland of China.

The thing is, although the grass always seem greener on the other side. To me China is always the greener side.
But like SEAJ you said, when I go back, I really do cherish every moment. I can almost remember every day I have been there.
Hell, I've got about 200 pictures and 2 hours of recorded videos of our last trip to ChangPing.

Living in China is great...

until you realize that you are living in China.

You try to log onto facebook.  Nope

You try to log onto Twitter.  Nope

You try to check the girls DB.  Nope

You try to find regular popcorn.  Nope

You try to find size 13 (47) shoes.  Nope

You try to find decent NON asian food.  Nope

However, all these things are fine once you are in the arms of a sweet PRC girl... that shaves her armpits!

QQzone is just very far behind on its internationalization to be easily used by someone who is basically chinese illiterate. (Havent checked QQzone in 6 months, maybe its different now)

I can go to Hong Kong for popcorn...

As for armpits, I quick decisive strike with a razor does wonders.  Just have to implement the proper reward scenario for it.

As for what I will be pining for when I go back to the states (currently planning on being away for 6 weeks)

I am sure many of the mainland china posters have seen me walking around the KTV flower streets but never bother introducing themselves and as there are soo many chinese guys, trying to strike up an english convo with all of them sounds like a recipe for disaster!

Perhaps I will look into making up a Tshirt that people could use to identify me...

As far as "amusing" T-shirts are concerned - I'd be a bit careful with what's written on it. Unlike the PI or LOS, I don't think that the "locals" will be too amused at things that can be misinterpreted. Chinese sensitivities and all that.

Nice pics, but that white face makeup really bothers me the more I see it!  In fact, I generally dislike MOST of the makeup girls wear.  Though I have picked some girls that do not resemble themselves after the makeup is gone

Not holding back on any pictures. Just that most of the pics are of me and my friends. And then there are many memorable photos.
Some are kind of like an inside joke.
For example a picture of my hotel room number, just to sometimes remember back.

And I always thought that pictures would mean report also about a punt or WG.
If I put up all the photo's from CP, then all my "reports" with the single picture would be like:

"Today went to Man Lian restaurant and ate this"   

But since we are now on this chat thread, I might try to dig up the forbidden folder with the pics and try to post some up here

This picture is from my last trip. 2011 January. This is in New Century Hotel.
This place is not one of my favorites, but we had to try it once. Used to always go to Tian Yue in DaLAng which is a 20 minute drive from ChangPing.

This night we just felt we wanted to stay close to ChangPing, and so we took a room in New Century Hotel.
As usual, night was crazy.
Started at 8pm, and left around 4am....     missing those times....

This picture is me and CC... she was a really nice girl. I had her for 2 nights. She works in Ou Ya, but never have I been there.
A friend introduced her to me.
