this is just a ridiculous excuse. every team had more than enough time to get used to the new ball...

I think the point is that other nations have only had the ball to play with during their world cup preparations, whereas teams like Germany have had the ball for their domestic leagues, i.e. playing with them day in day out for months, and in real competitive matches.

NK look great so far.

Let's see if they can keep it up for the second half.

I'm going to take that link about the ball to the TAB and demand a refund. I'll let you know how it works out for me.

Good game from NK. Is it just me or did others want NK to score a second goal during the last few minutes? lol they played well and I enjoyed it much more than portugal.

However, Brazil were good and will only get better.

Tonight's Matches - My Prediction

Hondurus vs Chile : 1-2 to Chile (South American always wins against the Central American)

Spain vs Switzerland : 3-1 (No Contest for the Swiss)

South Africa vs Uruguay : Another scored Draw (Probably 2-2) Will be an exciting game.

What is wrong with this World Cup, how come the goals are so few and so far and between. Has the strikers taken a break or are ther being Marked that well? Well done to the defenders.

Totally agreed.
It seems that it is going to be the most boring World Cup since 1990 Italy with a goal ratio of 2.21.
Right now with 20 goals in 13 games, it's 1.54.

Even the All mightly Brazil only scored two goals against North Korea.
Better hope another favourite Spain get more goals.

I think most of it has to do with the new ball, which is much lighter, hence most shots tend to go over.
