bros, i have a question for you.

I will arrive directly on September 2nd morning in HK Airport and i want to go straight to Macau.

I read i can take directly take a ferry to Macau inside the airport, but i will miss the "special rate" packages you can get in ome travel agencies in Ferry Terminal in HK right ?

Does this packages are really worth it ? as i will try almost 4 or 5 saunas (18, Rio, D1, Emperor, Sanado) maybe to get some are better value ?

Packages save you a bit on the ferry. They also include a shuttle bus from the ferry terminal to the saunas, but it's really not necessary as many casinos have free shuttles and you can hitch a ride on any that are close by. I wouldn't worry to much about it as long as you do your research beforehand.

Yes - all those buses do pass by the main strip and there are stops next to the Lucky and the Virgin - so you can go to any of the hotels within a few metres of getting off the bus.

Yes, you can and should take the ferry directly from INSIDE the Hong Kong Intl airport i.e do NOT clear immigration etc and go straight to the SkyPier at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and you will then just clear customs/immigration in Macau. And I think you'd want to inform your airline when you check in for your flight to Hong KOng that you will be just transiting in Hong Kong and to then have your bags delivered to the Sky ferry pier i/o the Hong Kong baggage carousel.

Also yes, packages are only on sale at the Shun Tak ferry terminal in Sheung Wan - but all you'd be saving is approximately the ferry ticket price HKG-Macau (you will get a complimentary R/T ferry ticket for passage - NOT cash savings!) - savings which will be eaten up by what it will cost you to go from the airport to Sheung Wan.  On top of that, you will be going to several saunas - so its probably best you just do walk-ins whilst in Macau i/o pre-commiting yourself prior to actually getting there.

Had to go to the airport to pick somebody up just now - and picked up some tidbits of info which may be useful for visitors to Hong Kong.

Left luggage service -
next to/outside of Exit B in the arrival halls -  HK$10 per hour per piece, HK$120 per piece per any 24 hours - thus if you stored your bag for 26 hours, its $120 + 20 = $140. Only Visa, master card, cash accepted - no other credit cards!

Airport Lounge and Spa -
2 traveler's lounge INSIDE the airport (within the custom/immigration secure areas - for transit passengers) next to Departure gates 1 and 35,
1 Plaza premium lounge counter right outside arrival exit B, with actual facilites beneath the airport express platform.  (outside of Immigration/customs, in public areas)

Services include lounge use, hairstyling, nail, massage, business centre, WiFi, baggage handling, oxygen therapy, buffet & bar, resting areas, shower etc -  1 - 3 hour packages circa HK300 - 600.  Also private resting area (Beds?) for HK$600 for 10 hours.
NOT 100% sure of the prices as they've got all sorts of packages and only a placard listing out the prices with no price list flyers etc.

I do know they have showers available at the airport for the people who had a long flight and need a shower before they go straight to a conference.

Nah.... I seriously doubt that you're gonna get anything than a genuine veggie massage etc. - even if I did NOT get a chance to actually look at the gals or even the facilities.  Like I said, I was just picking up somebody and happened to see the above 2 services.

And yeah, showers for the regular economy class Pax - something which is usually reserved only for the business/First class travellers in their airport lounges. When I was a "corporate warrior" I really looked forward to the use of these business/first class lounges - yeah, its definitely different world for those who travels in the front of the bus!!

I was on TER and researched about booking in Las Vegas.  A lot mentioned about the typical ones w/ banners and for me to check cityvibe.  Cityvibe las vegas doesn't have much 'asians', like white skin chinese/korean girls.  A lot of the korean ones are middle age, heavily photoshopped in picture and tanned.

I notice they also use JAV as an advertisment picture which is misleading, kind of like euro using adult stars.

Perhaps I should focus more at TER?

TER is still your best bet for US.

I need some advice on hotels in Angeles City!

I have stayed at the ABC and Lewis Grand.  I had an awful time at the Lewis and will never go back.

A friend recently suggested wild orchid.  I keep on hearing about Pacific Breeze as a good place to go.

Anyone wanna advise me between the Pacific Breeze and the Wild Orchid?

Well, at the moment I am booked at the Wild Orchid.  If the room is not to my liking, I can always walk by the Breeze and see what rooms they have available!


Worse comes to worse, I head over to the ABC!

BTW, I want to coin a couple terms:

So i just need to explain at the Paris CDG airport when i checkin, that when i will arrived in HK airport i go straight to Macau ?

My airline company will be Aeroflot, i do a stop in Moscow 2 hours then go to HK, so i must talk about it in Moscow too when i do my stop 2 hours ?

i think it will not be easy... the costumers services in Paris aiport (Charles De Gaule) is a nightmare ! they just do your check in and goodbye and for French people too ! we HATE our aiport it's not new.

if i can't get my  bags delivered to the Sky ferry pier it won't be a problem, i arrive in morning, i have time and i will be on vacations.

Anyway... have fun in AC. If you want a change of pace, there are KTVs operated by Koreans along the perimeter road leading to the "small Korea village". My friend and I went there a couple of years ago. The girls that they offer you for company are top quality. They can be bar fined. I think these KTVs caters for Korean punters but other BFBFs are fair game for them. Haha!

Actually I think that you really MUST tell them at Paris CDG airport about your plans to NOT actually exit in Hong Kong but that you are planning to only TRANSFER in Hong Kong to go directly to Macau via Skypier INSIDE of the Hong Kong airport.

If you do not tell them this, then they will just tag your luggage "HKG" and it will be waiting for you at the Hong Kong airport baggage carousel which is AFTER you've already cleared Immigration. You are then forced to go clear custom and out of the airport!  And there is NO direct ferry from outside of the restricted area to Macau, and you would then need to go to the Sheung Wan Shun Tak ferry terminal in Hong Kong side or the China-Hong Kong fer terminal on Canton rd in Kowloon - both NOT at the airport.

And I wouldn't worry about Moscow as Aeroflot should already tag your luggage all the way to Hong Kong without you having to mess around with it when you're in Moscow (I think/am pretty sure - unless of course if Aeroflot is THAT bad!!).

At least you've still got plenty of time before September and you should take this time to make enquiries from your end on how to accomplish what I outlined.

The first time I went to AC I tried to stay at the Pacific Breeze.  They showed me the corner room on the first floor of the 2nd building (one with the security guard in the picture).  I walked in and immediately walked out.  Cancelled my reservation.

Though I heard much better things about the main building rooms.  (Pictures look like they are from 2nd building).  

Oh well, 2 hours left at the office before I head to HK->AC!

Also consider Pacific Breeze's affiliated hotel, Central Park. It's just around the corner, about the same quality and a bit cheaper. Hell, you can even use the pool at the Pacific Breeze for free!

NOW....you've really got me confused.

You first asked for recommendation between Pacific Breeze and Wild Orchid - and now you're telling us that you have actually been to Pacific Breeze? Booked it previously, went to it and turned right around and rejected it?

If so, why would you now ask if Pacific Breeze is a viable option?
