Hey JeSun,

Hawks are blazzing right now. Such a deep young team that is making the older Sharks actually look thier age. If they get by the Sharks I think they are a sure win for lord stanley.

Habs win again.  Go Habs Go.  The hockey gods are going to bring the Cup back to Montreal.

doesn't matter much out East.  The real Stanley Cup is being played in Chicago this weekend and hopefully Chicago will finish off San Jose. I suspect though that San Jose will take one out of the two in Chicago and take it back to San Jose for a 5th game.

I sort of feel bad for San Jose, especially considering it's my home city.  They played well enough last night to have pretty much beaten any team.  But once again Niemi was standing on his head, and Chicago took advantage of their limited good opportunities to steal another game away from San Jose.  5 more games and finally the Hawks can claim the Cup that hasn't been there since before I was born.

I dunno about that...  I'm only a fair-weather fan with the Sharks and hockey, so you've probably got a better assessment of the team than I do, but they look like they're getting swept!

Wow !!! I'm not surprised they won but for them to sweep... Wow!!! I only hope Philly gives them a better series. But I think they're
going to show how slow Pronger really is.

Sharps EPIC FAILED! 4-0 sweeeeeeeeep i was hoping they'd at least win 1 or take it to game 6 but a sweep is sad...i think their needs to be a huge shakedown for the sharks, trade big joe?

No surprise there about the Sharks.  While the team had a good season and did make it to the conference finals, it's just another letdown for the Bay Area sports fans...  I've still got to recognize them for getting that far though; they've done better than the Warriors, 49ers, Raiders, A's, and Giants in the past year.

The Hawks are going to run away with the cup now. I'm pretty sure neither the habs or Flyers have the talent to keep up with the hawks although the flyers might physically lay a beat down on the hawks top forwards.

yeah the Sharks were a bit snakebitten in this series. You could make an argument that in 3 of the 4 games, they outplayed Chicago for significant parts of the game and the fact that Chicago swept San Jose doesn't show how close this series was.  Ultimately it came down to the fact that Chicago was probably a little bit better than San Jose with depth all over and that Nabakov gave up some ordinary goals and Niemi didn't.  Ultimately I think Nabakov is going to carry the blame for this series loss but it wasn't like he had such a bad series - it's just that when your team can only muster up 7 goals in 4 games, each and every goal you give up is going to be scrutinized.

It'll be interesting if the Hawks do face the Flyers - the Hawks haven't beaten Philly in 8 years in Philadelphia.  Of course, that covers only about 6 games or so.

any team that has sucked throughout most of the year, had like 100 goalie changes, had a coach fired, got into the playoffs on a shootout on the last game, was within an overtime of getting knocked out in 4 straight against Boston and even losing 3-0 in Game 7 - is leading a charmed life and on its last life.  Chicago has had two main problems all year - inconsistent goaltending and a propensity to let the foot off the gas for long periods of time.  Well we saw that the goaltending part is now taken care of and Chicago, though they were outplayed somewhat in some stretches against San Jose, was opportuniistic enough to eek things out in all 4 games.     Chicago in 5.  Even though Philly is a very talented team, I just don't see how they are going to cope with a awesome hungry team like Chicago when they could have easily been knocked out by an inferior Boston team.  Plus you have to admit, Montreal is pretty much a joke of a team, and Halak's greatness didn't apply to this past series.

I would like it if Philly won, just because I'm a season ticket holder(freaking $15000+) and +playoff prices and all that went to waste when the blackhawks beated our team..especially hate that buttfugly guy...honestly dont want him winning the cup AND watching marian hossa lose 3 straight SCF would be legendary...hahahaha

yeah unfortunately everyone doesnt have the same view as you...
I am hoping Hossa wins the cup this year.. losing 2 years in a row is legendary and everything but he deserves to win..
He took pay cuts just to join a cup winning team every year just to lose out in the finals.

As for Byfuglian, he deserves to win the cup because of what he does ...  As an aggrevator..
If you hate him he did his job
