Under ordinary circumstances, all sexual partners should be contacted. They all need to be tested and treated if necessary.  Given the anonymous nature of the customers of walk-ups, it's simply not possible for the WG to contact all of her sexual partners (if in fact she even knows she's infected as many women are asymptotic). Some bros here believe we should simply air it all out. Other believe the opposite.

In this instance, and perhaps as protocol going forward, a bro that definitively contracts a STI from a WG should post some geographic and or building information as well as actual or estimated date contracted.  Bros that have a legitimate concern given this more narrow information can PM the OP the name of the WG he visited in that building around that date.  the OP can then confirm or not.  This way we get the public service of the warning, which is critical, while maintaining the confidentiality of the WG to all but those affected. A bit more of a pain for the OPs but this is a public service we owe each other.

Thoughts?

I'm ok with Mods Administering the forum but not with mods being the arbiters of all information and determining on their own what we all should or should not know. Their only qualification is posting on this form a ton, not exactly an endorsement of sound judgement generally. Doesn't mean they don't have sound judgement, just doesn't entitle them to the presumption.

The above is a reasonable proposal.

From Lurker's post:
"Been to gov clinic, gonorrhea! Great!

Only two girls in december, one was Miu Miu(26th Dec) in TST Champs Court, and one was Gigi(25th Dec). The SO hasn't had any action for at least a month.

Both girls are clear - MM by sms, Gigi by med cert.

Hmmm"

One thing to keep in mind, is that even after treatment the treated person is advised to avoid sex for a certain period (varies with treatment and STD), and that period can be quite long (10-14 days).

For a WG to sit out work that long would be quite a challenge to her finances, so the incentive may be for her to go back to work too early, she says she's "clear" because she took the shot/pills yesterday, but it's going to take longer than that for the treatment to clear the STD.

I'm not saying this is the case with either girl, and by now we're so far down the calendar from the initial event that it's no longer relevant, but it's worth keeping in mind for future instances.

I didn't do it.  Really I didn't.
