True, but he'd do it just to get back at Kobe. If Kobe was driving down the lane, you know he'd throw a flagrant to mess him up.

Kobe and Shaq maybe playing nice to the media at times, but deep down both hold a grudge and it's a "one up man ship" thing going on with these two.

yes shaq is a solid supporting role.  Heat have 3 super players.  shaq can play the supporting role & the team that helps gels thing together.  As noted before, he already played with James & Wade before which will be a added value.

We'll Kobe has the last laugh. He stayed in LA and got the job done. He played through alot of controversy a few years ago and did not miss a step.  Gotta hand it to him.

Actually you gotta hand it to the GM, Kipchuck I think, who basically raped the Griz to get Gasol for nothing. Otherwise, Kobe doesn't get his last 2 rings. Before the Gasol trade, the team was just doing ok, not the best in the west.

Gasol also improved alot.  His reputation was that of being soft.  He reacted to that and became pretty fierce.  A good example of how a person can react to critics and excel.
