That's exactly what I read in a magazine a while ago and I do agree.

I used to buy Men's Fitness (both US and UK issues). They have some good articles on workout exercises and diet. The diets however are mainly western style dishes. I stopped buying magazines though as practically every magazine every month will have on it's cover about how to lose the belly or get a six pack. It's just a rehash of the same thing over and over.

I now use a personal trainer at my gym mainly to stop me from getting bored and to keep me motivated. Not the most economical but I think its worth the price for being healthy.

Most magazines regardless of topics rehash their articles over and over.  I hardly buy magazines anymore unless it has an article that is really different.  Instead I now go to the HK Central Library across from Victoria Park.  The library has an excellent selection of English language magazines and periodicals from around the world (of coz no Playboy mags like one can get in libraries in USA).

Dude, don't you know no one buys the Playboy for the pics, they buy it to read its articles.

Seriously, Playboy was kept in both its slick paper form and braille version in alot of libraries because the articles are considered well-written.  Their interviews with famous people are very good.  Too bad Playboy is losing circulation and may fold in the future because readers these days don't appreciate its writing.

I don't remember which mag it was. I didn't buy it anyway, I don't buy men mags. I just read them in some places... it just seems most of men mags talk about the same topics over and over, so it don't bother any more
