When I think about it, I've can't recall when I've gone to Morton's for lunch, as I'll go to the Celestial (Chinese) resto in the Sheraton if I happen to be there around lunchtime.

However, I've never experienced being in a steakhouse where they refuse to serve steak, as long as they are open!

Figure on spending around 1,000 HKD, although I do recall some options down in the 400 mark if you choose.  From your posts, I don't think you will be worrying about the difference for a single meal.

Enjoy.

The 1,000 HKD would include some shared appetizers, drinks, etc.  From what I remember, that's approximately how much I spend per head when I go there for dinner.

I do see some special being posted around on the Mortons in the Venetian Macao though, something like a 3 course meal for 500-600 hkd.  You might want to check that out.

WOW... This is turning into a "VERY" informative thread.....

FUCK the food guide....I have been doing research on the net and have still come up empty handed but thanks to the bros i think the "MORTON" is the place to go for a juicy rare T-bone steak....

Cheers bros for the input....

I have logged onto the Morton's website and can't seem to find if they will serve steak during lunch...Plus there is also no price list....( WERID)....

Can any of the bros help with a link to the info which i am seeking....

Rico,

Morton's in the States serve steak for lunch, though the portions are smaller because they can't charge as much for lunch compared to dinner.  Also, even thought Morton's is a chain restaurant, they do not post prices on-line because each location charges according to local market demand.  A porterhouse in NYC will differ in cost from Chicago, Dallas, or Vegas.

http://www.mortons.com/menu/lunch/

Click on the link and then where it says "Lunch is available at participating locations."

It'll take you to a map of it's locations and I see that HK does not have the "L" for lunch.

Hope that helps

Teppanyaki place?  The only place I can think of that might remotely fit that description would be Red.

Generally the food will be 2-4,000 per person, so I imagine your bill had a lot of ordered wine ...

I dont think Red has Teppanyaki. maybe you're referring to Inagiku??

I usually end up ordering medium-rare.  I find you get the most consistent results this way, as in edible.  Ordering medium will often get you medium-well, which is ok, but not to my taste.

I think you are right, he was probably talking about Inagiku.  The ordering of the wine threw me off.  The Inagiku in Starworld Macau is much better than the one in the Makati Shangri-La.

RICO's has just made a discovery......

Mr Steak at Langham Place..13th floor.....They have the best Angus steaks in Hong Kong and at a bargain price of 138HK dollars....Pay an extra 40 HK dollars and you get a starter and coffee included....

The steak i had there was cooked to perfection....But if you want like it medium then ask for medium to well done...( Chat sing suck...)

How good can the steak be...Well RICO had TWO steaks...

Go for it bro...RICO has tried Outback steaks but their steaks are more expensive.....The Angus steak at Mr Steaks in Mongkok just blows away Outback's.....

If you are a steak lover like RICO then you will not be disappointed....

That's a very unusal way to tenderize a steak bro...

Well we have a saying in the UK....." Don't diss it until you have tried it."

So how tender would you like RICO to make your steak bro...
