Hello everybody, this is Jake’s friend again and I have to tell you that everything I wrote in my message dated 1st April is true. Jake is dead. I was expecting replies of sorrow, regret and condolences but was surprised and shocked that you all treated it as an April Fool’s joke. The fact is, I wasn’t even aware of the date. After surprise and shock I felt anger. Then I remembered a favourite saying of Jake – don’t get mad, get even. So I decided to post a real April Fool’s joke and have Jake report from the grave. It was surprisingly easy. I’d read most of Jake’s reports and I just cut and pasted from a few of them. Unfortunately, I was delayed and busy and couldn’t finish it in time but decided to post anyway. It was funny that nobody believed my real post but everyone believed the fake. I even decided to take on the persona of Jake for a while and posted a few other things. But now I realise it’s just not funny. Jake is dead and it’s time for this charade to end.

TwiceAweek commented that I didn’t give the cause of Jake’s death. That was deliberate and for the same reason I didn’t give the date of Jake’s death or the country in which it occurred. Jake’s death was under unusual circumstances and certainly not due to natural causes. An investigation is in progress and the more information I give, the more likely that someone will be able to guess the true identity of Jake. You might think I’m being paranoid, and maybe I am, but my duty now is to protect Jake’s memory and his family. I certainly don’t want him to be publicly associated with the activities described in this forum, even though he was clearly an active participant. If you have families, I’m sure you’ll understand.

Now, the man you know as Jake can truly rest in peace and his account can be closed.

By the way, you probably don’t know, but Jake also posted as BillyB and that account can also be closed. From those posts you can see that Jake loved a good joke and I’m sure he’ll forgive me for posting under his name.

Yes I, Marsupial, am back! Look upon me wretched noobie and tremble! OK that's out of the way.

I've been in Seattle since late January and do miss the girls - bless their strange names. I check back now and then just to see what's up.

I had assumed that Jake disappeared because without me life on the forum had no meaning for the poor dude. Or was he my, what's the word, doppelgänger? Come to think of it, I should have started my own April Fool's thread claiming that I'd always been Jake and had just created the guy out of nothing to have someone to argue with.

Little did I know that the void left by my absence would end up costing the brash Brit his life. I hope he took sexpert with him - that way his death would at least have had some meaning.

By the way, his wife says that her "former guy" always made her dress up as a 12 year old Junior High student before he could get it up! What's that all about?
