Walked past last night and all the bars were open again

Hi Bros,

All bars seem to be operating as normal again in Shekou, Shenzhen.

There is a relatively new bar called Havana which open a month or two ago.
It is located across from Enigma Bar (number 19 on the map).

Please note this map is out of date and should only be taken as a guide.

When I get some spare time I will update the map with all the new bars added and closed bars removed.

Anyone have any intel on the strip of bars behind the Holiday Inn?  Not sure if this is considered Shekou, but it is up Nan Hai Da Dao a ways.

I've driven past them a few times on the way in to pick up colleagues staying at the hotel, but have never been into any of them.  Based on the large number of Japanese restaurants all within about 25 meters of each other on the same street, my guess would be the bars also cater to Japanese guys.

I was at shekou yesterday night...reach at 12am and make my from start from sunflower bar all the way to hai bin bar....not much girls around that time....stopped for a drink at enigma bar and happy hour bar.....no fs service from them....just chatting and pool game....chill out time....hai bin bar was quite empty at 1am when i reach there....did not see april bar....is it closed or i just missed it?

any recommendation for a massage place in shekou now that Sakura is closed?
I am here in Shekou and have no idea where to look

i went to a place with a sign says "foot massage,massage"
on the road, next to a bar i forgot the name.
The place is really really big!

actually went there twice.
first time was in the afternoon and second time was a few days later in the evening

The first visit was ok, a nice girl, not great looking but sweet.
didn't know a word of english.
overall the service was ok and i gave her a 150rmb tip.

the second time i came the place was quite full, with many people doing foot massage.
i choose again the 268 rmb oil massage,
came a big girl, big tits but overall big girl.

i was tired after a long day so i didn't say a word.
when i entered the room i was specifically told no tips!

her massage skills were really really good to be honest.
was expecting something a lot worse.

really impressed with her service, although her looks was a bit disappointing.

Forbidden City Bar is closing and Sunrise Bar has not been open the last two nights.

Girl quality has dropped in the last couple of years adding to my misery.

Sad news indeed.  They were such a lucrative business for the local authorities.  What do you figure is happening?  It's not like all the mongers all the sudden all dissipated.  Do you know how receptive are the nearby hotels (ex Fuzon) to having the guest bringing the girls to their room.  In other words, are you more likely to run the risk of a front desk snitch calling the cops to check your room?

I think the biggest problem at the moment is a lot of the oil boys are being shipped to India.
These guys were typically big spenders in the bars and punting.

Most hotels are girl friendly in Shekou so I don't see that being an issue.

Also there is a glut of bars in Shekou all fighting for the same customer base.

I really see this as going in your favor...at least for the short term.  More supply than demand, that is.  More competition for less business.  Though eventually the supply will dry up.  Seems like every time I log into the forum, there seems to be some sort of Guangdong wide raid going on.  Sadly, that seems to be the norm these days.

I agree short term this could be a good thing for the punters.
Will their charges drop? Unlikely.

I just hope it doesn't dry up to much and the good lookers move on.

Ritz bar has closed down for good and Relax bar is up for sale.
Forbidden City bar has new management but I suggest this bar will continue to struggle.

Corner bar which is relatively new will call in WGs after you arrive.
The nice touch is they ask you what region you would like the girl to come from.

I chose Sichuan and an early 40's grannie rolled on up.
