well, this is not the reason they gave.  The reason was that we would not be chasing them trying to make the "real" girlfriends.  Seems young single guys present a constant problem for them if they go out with them -- getting jealous, asking for more and more of their time, etc. etc.  Married guys are already taken...

I think the more likely reason would be that married guys tend to be better off financially + they have less opportunities to fuck since the SO is always around. These 2 factors combine, making the married guy more likely to be generous with the girls. Just my cynical take on this...

Here are my 2¢.
Marriage is a partnership, and as such it has "rules and regulations" . These are unique to each couple.
For example, I'm married, I'm straight and my wife is bisexual. We both know our personal needs, sexual needs i mean.
She likes women,and she knows I like women. So under that umbrella we had agreed in a sort of procedure manual that must ever been broken, or all shit will break loose.
So to wrap it up.
Again, marriage is a partnership, and o parties has to  homered the " agreement" just like any other partnership. now what's on that agreement it's uniquely every couple.
With that being says... I'm in HK now, my wife knows about, and she is the one asking "did you get your massage yet?

@Alexander: I gave my wife free way to try out male escort. Up to now she did not use this. You are quite right that married men may generally be not "clingy" at all. Hence the freedom from all unwanted emotional attention from men the WG spend time with with monetary transaction (or not).

From my experience so far, the WGs just ask about it for chit-chat, no harm really in it.  Some have also replied that they are married and have kids too!
