Im always into phones, i just love gadgets (and women), always trade in old phones and buy new ones (same with women ). So average ill have a new phone in 3-4 months. Yes I know im spending a lots of money on this shit, but I dont buy expensive clothes like prada, versace, not my style. Just clothes from Double Park/ IT level.

The HTC tytn II has a 400MHZ Qualcomm processor, and according to some pro reviews the processor isnt powerful enough, so could be slow with multitasking. Navigation on a pocket PC is ok, but slow if you want to navigate to a address very fast, cause of the slow start up speed of TomTom or other navigation software. And GPS will absolutely drain the battery in no time.

The brand isnt a copycat Taiwanese company, they make the best Pocket PC's on the planet, only their phone and camera quality are shit.

anyway finally bought it from PCCX and with a new 3G plan i can get further discounts of HKD1400 so it works out to be HKD4,688 however, since i have been an ipod fan for the past 2 years, i find the user interface of nokia very difficult to use despite the very good phone jam packed with fucntions
i mean all the fucntions you need.  

anyway to import music to the phone you need media player 11 which i hate.

so to sum up. it is a very nice, good looking phone to impress your mates but to use, you will end up only using a quarter of the functions.  and i think i will still carry on listening to my music from my ipod classic which i bought 2 years ago.

Sweet, u also can use the n95 8gb as mass storage device, just copy and paste your songs, no need for wmp 11.

I will use the GPS very often, so is it bundled with GPS software? If Yes, which one? Mapking?

Is the GPS in HK any good? My built in one with my Blackberry is as shit as shit can be.....

Also all the report on the net gives more marks to iphone than N95??

I used a pocketpc with bluetooth mouse for navigation. ANd it works perfectly, but i want the n95 8gb since it has a built in navigation and phone in 1. And yes blackberry is very shit for navigation.

No if you  compare the functions the N95 will win no doubt.
The browser is shit, of course, its a phone after all, dont expect a browser like a pocket pc.
Maybe you can install Opera 4.0 mobile browser, its the best.  

Maybe you havent done research whether the N95 8Gb is suitable for you or not, you got attracted by all those functions that in the end you will use 20% of them?
I phone has very sleek interface, if you are only into that, then u may think iphone is better than n95, but i think you cant compare those two, they are two totally different phones. The N95 is for advanced mobile users and Iphone is for the beginners.

Btw how are the speakers quality of the n95? Very loud and clear?

And what is the GPS software called?

i have used the web browwer on n95 it is ok not as bad as i thought.

Yes advanced users, mostly ppl will buy the N95 for its functions, GPS, WiFI connection, HSDPA internet, lots and lots of 3rd party applications for the tweakers, 5 Mpix camera with AF, 30 FPS video recording, 8GB of hard drive.

Of course these functions are too pro compared to the Iphone. Iphone only has standard funtions that mostly satisfy beginnners. Very beautiful and easy UI (which is good), only 2mpix camera, Sim locked (if bought officially), No option for 3rd party applications, no custom mp3 ringtones, only have EDGE internet, internal battery (if its broken, u need to send it back to Apple, instead of replacing yourself)

i am using the camera, listening the mp3, and radio, using wifi to serve the net and of cousre the applications for the phone. already using the new softwares such as fung shui for your home etc.  

i guess pretty much using the phone pretty well.

my second day with the phone already liking it more.
