At the moment, no my significant other doesn't know and I hope to keep it that way. That said, as I only do it in HK when I'm away from her, I think it'll be somewhat safe. Also this is my personal computer with no access for her.

In asian countries where this seems to be more prevalent (assumption only, please don't bash me for saying that!), it seems like many girls would rather turn a blind eye to it. It also seems the more educated and smart the girl, the more she will be offended.
In any case, I would NEVER admit to anything, even if the sky was falling. There is no way to recover EVER from that.

Dunno about acceptance; my experience in Aust is the same for most places - you can cheat but be prepared for the consquences. Some women will be fine after a while, most of them will do a Laurane Bobbit while your sleep.

The way I figure it, if one is going to go down the 'rabbit's hole', make sure you pay for something damn fine so that if you do get busted, it was worth it. drop $1k-$2k on some classy chick that lets you do everything to her that your heart desires so inevitably when you get found, you at least have some great memories instead of being left with the feeling of "i lost it all for some 2 bit hooker...."

I think as men, we look around for 2 reasons. 1) pure lust and 2) the conquer. when I mean conquer i do not mean physical conquer but the feeling that you have this person 1)sexually conquered and/ or emotionally conquered. In some cases for woman its the same.

It makes us feel fresh but i am sure most of you wouldnt leave your wife just because you conquered some other woman. Its that nice feeling to have. I would equate the feeling with a deal at work which you were the only one that managed to seal.

I want to add a story too.  My dad heads up to China for golf twice a week.  Every time he finishes golf he would go massage.  My mom has been checking on his China phone and has been reading these contacts and messages.  My mom kind of knows something suspicious, but uncertain.  However for me, I don't want to care about it because I understand my dad is a hard worker.  Some time here and then he needs to release stress.  And since I'm a guy as well, I will totally understand if he does these kind of stuff.  Meanwhile my mom depends on my dad a lot, which is why she will just have to pretend nothing happen.  I do feel sorry for my mom too, but this is life sometimes.  Sometimes I see my mom so hurt but I couldn't do anything about it.

By nature, men want to spread their genes, they want to find as many partners as they can, especially if they are lost interest or not getting any at home. What do you expect them to do? Let me tell you about my girlfriend and girls in general. They hate competition and will do anything to keep their partner. So if she ever found out that you're banging WG's your life is over. And if anyone says differently, they're kidding themselves. Girls dont want to share you if she's really interseted in you and hates the thought of you even eyeing another girl let alone cuddling up with some WG. Moral issues aside, it's just human nature.

one thing we may need to be cognizant of is that Women and Women in general (a vaguely more mature breed) view life marriage and us (men) in a far more pragmatic view.

Many moons ago when Dinosaurs roamed and i was in my 20's the "girls" i dated were far more possessive about my time and how i spent my free time, ensuring it was mostly with them or had them as the focus.

now eons later those same "girls' are now "women" and will invariably just go off and have their own fun with other women (doing whatever they do) and leave me to my own devices.

as one gets older life is viewed on a far more personal level, and the little things that one learns are not important in the end.....
are left for the younger generation to stress over.

I just don't understand why you guys got married. Didn't you know you'd be in this position? It seems agonizing... but you're the ones who chose to get married, right?

I stay single because I know that I couldn't keep to just one woman.  And WGs (or jacking off alone... not much different) are an easy solution because the arrangement is honest. I could get lots of sex for free if I lied to women that they'd be my girlfriend and my only one etc, but I'm not willing to do that either.

Seems like not a lot of fun for me to be "in love" with someone, living with them, and every day lying to them.
